I am currently coveting Konad printing plates & Konad printing polish, and China Glaze polishes.     And more pure acetone...    and...   ok I will stop there..     I have just done a nail art wish list & its a bit on the large side

I blame nail art blogs

I've got into my nails recently too. I got a load of stuff for Christmas (all the crackle and glitter stuff) - I'm currently bright red with a hint of glitter. I'm off to look at Amazon

Preloved is worth a look at for buying and selling as well

My watch list astounds me because Mr C uses my account, we are currently watching a Ferrari, other assorted luxury cars, a couple of helmet cameras and several pressure washers, come the summer there will be yachts on there too!

Bits and bobs for my niece Ditty, she's 11 but she's always using my nail stuff when she's here.  So I ordered her transfers, nail glitter, brushes, nail gems, paints and a wee container thingy to keep them all in.  The container never arrived and her mum probably hates me now

I'll look Amazon though now because I need some fine brushes aswell for myself to doodle with  I've only mastered ladybugs so far....will need to google some easy designs and have a go.

I've always been asked for recorded delivery. however.

Well i havent left feed back yet so im still kind of hoping they will get it, i'm putting it down as a learning experience

Hope you used your credit card to purchase or paypal. I believe there is some protection.

I once won an auction and was about to pay wit paypal, the seller contacted me asking if I would send a money order as he could not accept paypal at present. I refused and did not pay.

He raised an incident against me, I left it and it went away.

I'm not a massive fan of ebay these days.

To answer OP : Nowt, Nowt, Nowt, Nowt.

snow leopard design...    really really easy to do..    look really impressive.

loads of vids on youtube

Ickle did her own last Thurs (& she is the worlds WORST nail polisher..  I was impressed she had the patience to see it through).

Photo: Snow Leopard nails!

Mine were better

Blogs that I find the most help are:

http://www.thenailasaurus.com

http://onenailtorulethemall.blogspot.co.uk

http://chloesnails.blogspot.co.uk/

http://emilysnailfiles.blogspot.co.uk

Next thing I need to buy is a glove for my right hand...   left hand nails = look fab, right hand nails = looks like the dog did them for me

Back on the Ebay topic...

have bought loads of stuff on their, a random & eclectic mix of stuff..    have sold quite a bit on there too, old iPods, camera's, & other bits of unused gadge,

We often sell off stuff to help buy something new we want.. e.g.  sunglasses..    hubby was lusting after a new pair of Oakleys, so sold his old pair, along with a couple of other REALLY old pairs...  meant he could have the new ones

hubby keeps an eye open for lenses for his camera on ebay (you get the odd ridiculous bargain)

Dad & I used to buy & sell old (mint condition) Dinky racing cars...    sometimes buying on ebay & then selling at specialist (not online) auction, sometimes vice versa...    depending on which was profitable (had to stop that one...     Dad is a collector & kept keeping the stock for himself )

Yeah i used paypal so im hoping it will be sorted out

Jen-Star

yeah...   I don't like any of the 3D ones either (would drive me nuts)...

the snow leopard nails were soooo easy...

white nail varnish (2 coats)

then did random gold polish spots (using a cocktail stick dipped in it)

then did the black detailing using the black Andrea Fullerton  nail art pen I got for Christmas...  HOWEVER I reckon any fine-ish brush would do...   or even the cocktail stick..   you really don't have to be very precise (handy really cos I don't rate the black nail art pen I have...  You have to squeeze so hard to get it to work, that my thumb was going numb)..      roughly outline 3/4 or 1/2 or whole of gold spots.

Fill in any gaps in the nail with little groups of tiny dots (cocktail stick.. again)..   or little splodgy lines.

Then topcoat!

Jobs a good un!

I was really impressed with how long it lasted..   I am terrible for picking off nail polish...   but I did my nails like this Thurs night, and they were unchipped & presentable until earlier tonight (when I couldn't resist peeling them off)

make sure you get the black Konad stamping polish (or white, or both)

normal nail varnishes don't stamp very well in black or white...    everyone swears by the Konad speshal stuff.

AND...   if I were you I'd buy the smallest Konad kit you can (that includes a scraper & a stamper, & hopefully some black stamping polish)...

and then pay a bit more & get the bundle monster stamping plate sets..   sooooo much more for your money

I love those!  They look as though they might fall off easily though

Ells

China Glaze nail polish...      I thought I knew my nail polish..   somehow this brand had completely passed me by...

I haven't even tried it myself yet...    I go into a paralysed state of being unable to choose which ones to get...   (my amazon wish list is HUUUUGE now)...

top tip..    before you spend a lot of money on a polish (especially the special glittery ones..  google its name and the word "blog", and read some of the reviews on it first - and look at the pics..    I wish I had done this in the past..   I've had some disappointing buys from the Essie range)

I'd never be able to do those nails..    I might think I could do it..   but I know the end result would not look like that
