I wonder exactly when and how, she managed to get her hair highlighted?

Lacey Turner had her hair dyed blonde in real life, she looks so pretty

but it was also for Staceys storyline, think she might go back to brunette after though.

Yes she is pretty Darlo. Do prefer her dark haired though.

It's because they are taking her down the Bipolar path that they are making her look different, she's behaving erratic

. Lacey is a brilliant actress and she's so believable and spot on with her portrayal of Bipolar.
