The founder of soul group Earth, Wind & Fire, Maurice White, has died in the US, his brother has said.
White, 74, died in his sleep in Los Angeles on Thursday morning. He suffered from Parkinson's Disease.
His band had a series of hits including September, Boogie Wonderland, Shining Star and After the Love has Gone.

EWF were unique, brilliant and massively influential.
Although best known as co-vocalist and principle songwriter/arranger for EWF – he cut his teeth as a session drummer in Chicago during the mid-1960s playing on such Chess scorchers as: Fontella Bass – “Rescue Me” & Ramsey Lewis Trio - “Wade in the Water”
RIP Maurice White xx. I didn't know the name, but he made some absolutely brilliant records that will live on.
Not my kind of music really ,but good for dancing too..ahem.Rip.
