I was Yahoo for years, but when they messed about with it I changed to gmail.

I heard that outlook was one of the best and I have always meant to have a look at it .

Hope it settles down for you xx

I use my ISP provided email account. But have created others myself which the ISP allows.

The only time all my accounts are sync'd up are on my Android phone where I use the client to keep me updated on all the activity on each account in one place.

I have heard Thunderbird is good for managing multiple email accounts, but I've also heard that Mozilla are stopping supporting it !!

There's another idea too. I possibly could use another Virgin one

I too am on Virgin and I've created three accounts.

Never had any problems with them myself.

I may try installing Thunderbird on my iMac and have a play around with it to see how it works.

I use Outlook Express on my old XP puter and Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 on my Win 7 lappy.

I think there seems to be some confusion that hotmail is called Outlook.  MS Office has an email client that is called Outlook too..  they are completely different things.. the MS Office Outlook is an email client that runs separately on your computer and which you use to gather emails from all your various email addresses to one place, much like Outlook Express did, , the other is a browser based email 'client'...  less safe as contacts are stored online and more easily hacked for spamming, as are all web only email accounts..  I've always used a client and never used the web side of my emails accounts to store anything at all. .

Why do you all have so many email addresses? I'd get lost off... I have one personal one for everything

I need a Yahoo one for my Freegle volunteer stuff and to run my group, and I also use a gmail one for some of that too. .I also have some aliases set up on gmail for different Freegle support work that I do too so I can reply using the Freegle email via my gmail account.. my personal email is what I use for my personal business stuff .. I can't use it for my Yahoo groups and Freegle stuff as NTLworld, or virgin media as it is now, bounces a lot of the Yahoo mail and I miss certain alerts that I need to see.. have I confused you even more?

I have a zillion [ok slight exaggeration]  folders in my client for all the various incoming mail from various places
