I use Outlook Express on my old XP puter and Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 on my Win 7 lappy.
I think there seems to be some confusion that hotmail is called Outlook. MS Office has an email client that is called Outlook too.. they are completely different things.. the MS Office Outlook is an email client that runs separately on your computer and which you use to gather emails from all your various email addresses to one place, much like Outlook Express did, , the other is a browser based email 'client'... less safe as contacts are stored online and more easily hacked for spamming, as are all web only email accounts.. I've always used a client and never used the web side of my emails accounts to store anything at all. .
