I soooo agree
Mr. Cosi met him and Yasmin once: she's bright as a button and he's a proper thicko.
And he never could hold a decent note.

Have never liked them - also never quite got what it was the ladies saw that I didn't about him

Hearing Notorious makes me want to watch Donnie Darko again. Might stick that on instead

Yeah, even Mr. C who is a bit "Who..?" when it comes to 'slebs knew who she was.
He even felt brave enough to tell me she was drop dead gorgeous.
(I don't think he'd compare favourably to Capt. Sparrow though)

Always thought they were OK, not my fave band ever, but OK... still do think they're OK. Recorded this whilst watching something else.
I used to love Duran Duran ..... still love some of the oldies they did
I reckon Simon looks the best these days ... but back then, it was John Taylor I always liked ..... he's looking a bit aged now tho, imo.

To be fair, Yasmin is bloody stunning though! The 80's and 90's supermodels were all stunning, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington....and they all looked healthy and not like extras for Trainspotting. I know fashion evolves but some of the catwalk girls today look half dead. The oldies always looked vibrant.

In regards to the changing face of models, I think Kate Moss was the trailblazer when she appeared in the Calvin Klein ads.

All totally gorgeous, imo and all with a different 'look'.
The majority nowadays look like crack hags. Never 'got' the Kate Moss thing either.
Obviously she photographs well but far too often she's been caught looking a bit too ropey.
:throws bin bag over head:
What i couldn't get over, the sound of them, was like they had been in a time warp! never faltering..
were they singing live>?

agree slim
They had their moments in their day and for a group who were the teen band of their day, did far more stuff I liked than stuff I didn't like.
Watching it now. They just did, "A View to a Kill", the best thing about that film, which kind of says a bit about how crap (even for a Bond film) "A View to a Kill" was.

Christine Bleakley really grates on me. I don't know why as such but she just annoys me. I quite like Alex Jones and they're more or less the same person.
Duran Duran never moved me musically.
Not enough of their old stuff. Their old stuff was their best stuff.
Duran Duran. If only I'd remembered them when I was replying to the 'worst song ever' thread. They'd fill the damn thing to the point there would be nothing else in it. Simon Le Bon couldn't sing to save his life as a little fyi btw.
