I wouldn't wish illness on anyone ,but that is one man I can't stomach.
Hi Chicken, hope you are well x
I was saying about the Duke on another thread, not particularly a fan, but yesterday must have been gruelling, more so, the man is 90!
I hope he's ok. I'm not surprised he's ill after the weather yesterday. He's 90 isn't he? He did well to last the day.
It's a shame he won't be there to watch the concert. Hopefully he'll watch it in hospital. Love him or hate him he's been just as much a part of the monarchy as the Queen has for the last 60 years. A bumbling fool but I bet he's been her rock throughout it all.
Agree Cagney
Mind you - I bet he's glad he won't have to sit through the concert!! I doubt that it is his sort of thing

Oh I dunno. Lots of ladies dancing about....I bet he'd love it

Ah yes, you have a point
I was thinking more of having to sit through Cliff's Six Decades medley!!

I quite like the Queen and William, Kate and Harry. The rest of them can leave. Philip has had too many rumors about his infidelity for me not to hea ma doots.

OMG Rexi, I Hate that man. His birthday is on the same day as mine and I have to suffer his music if I listen to the radio on my birthday.

Really? Honestly, I wonder what planet I live on sometimes, I can 'hand on my heart' state I have never heard anything like that.

I like them all. I'm sure he's not the only one who played away
One of my faves is Zara.

Surely, alleged ex playboy with a great sense of humour, and a mother to be proud of.

I just remember listening to the Radio talking about him being a 'proper' sailor. ALLEGEDLY

I'm sure he isn't, but his wife doesn't have the same freedom.

Well said Ditty, me too.
He doesn't crack up the people he offends. Obviously, I hope he will be alright.

I'm never sure if he actually offends anyone. It's more to do with the press IMO.
bladder infection some reports say

Absolutely!
I lubbs the Phil too (Although not in a sexy way like Cinds does)
Does Cinds lubs him in a sexy way? HAHAHAHAHA!
I hope he recovers soon. It must be worrying for the Queen. I'm not particularly keen on the Royals but he is their husband/dad/grandad etc so, for all their sakes, I wish him well

She slipped him her phone number when she was younger!
He seems to have this effect on under age girls.....my (evil) sis used to fancy him when she was 13/14. Mind you, I think she had an old man fetish of some kind....cos she fancied Mr Wilkes off Emmerdale as well.

bloody hell! Tis a good job that evil sis didn't get her claws into Phillip!
She'd have single handedly brought down the monachy leaving a trail of destruction in her wake
He might not know it.. but the Phill dodged a bullet there !

The above posts sum it up for me.
I reckon he just wanted to get out of attending the concert!

At least he will get to fast forward over Macca !!!
It's sad he won't be there tomorrow - I bet the Queen will really miss him - she has often said she couldn't do it without her "rock" Get well soon Phil!
It is obvious that the Queen adores Philip and vice versa, but I too have read about the "Infidelities" on Phils part over the years. The last one being a couple of years ago with a woman who was on his horse and coach team. (Aledgedly)

I know he should 'know better', but I think of all the people of my Dad's generation and the sort of things they come out with that make me cringe sometimes and just see him in that light. I feel sorry for them tonight - a big occasion like this and her hubs is in hozzie
We move in different circles Garage Joe! I only try it on with work colleagues at Xmas piss ups and then wake up the next day, unfulfilled in my own bed with a mixture of shame, rejection and self loathing! Mind you, that said, probably a lucky escape!
