sorry but thats just not right, parking restrictions are not all there for peoples good, in some towns nice yellow lines were painted everywhere that had free parking just to increase the councils coffers and one friend that i used to visit is now "residents parking only" (not permit parking) visitors cant park anywhere near the houses and its not safe to park anything half decent out of sight from the houses, still the family next door to my friend now have plenty of space to park their lorry, van, taxi and 3 cars.
as for speed limits i can understand some like a 20mph limit near a school, but on a wide, well lit, straight road why is it still 20mph at 2am in the morning?
and lets face it those f**king speed cameras have about much to do with road safety as some of our mp's have to go with honest expenses claims, they are there for one reason only and thats to generate revenue.
remember that many speed limits were set back in the day when cars needed half a mile to stop, most modern cars will stop from 120 faster and in less distance than old cars could stop from 60
oh and i do have a clean licence (currently) so i'm not advocating speeding, just a little sense in all the restrictions.

most parking restrictions are there to make money but only the council and the police are entitled to issue them and if they a correctly issued and everything else is correct they should be paid but half the time the council do not correctly do this. Therefore if the council fails to follow the law on how things are done it is only right that the tickets get canned.
As for speeding you are assuming all those accused are guilty many things can go wrong to lead to being falsely accused. The CPS and the police have a responsibility to do things right if they cannot they have no business expecting a guilty verdict.
As to private parking company tickets (PPC's) they are completely unenforceable a private company CANNOT issue fines and penalty clauses in contracts are not legal in the UK. When you get a private parking ticket it will almost always say penalty charge or fine on it, they are breaking the law doing this it is a SCAM.
The PPC's are entitled to claim actual damages and noting more from the driver (not the keeper) . But they will send ever increasing demands for money when you get near the end you get debt collectors letters often from the same office threatening you with even more costs, CCJs and bailiffs.
Forgetting the fact that debt collectors have no power what so ever to take anything on a unsecured debt and the only way you get CCJs and bailiffs us IF they take you to court (highly unlikely) and you lose (even more unlikely particularly if you get help from pepipoo) AND YOU DON'T PAY AFTER THE COURT HAS ORDERED YOU TO. if you pay after losing you still do not get a CCJ.
They are a scam read up on peppipoo you will learn allot
Pepipoo DOES NOT advise breaking the law to avoid a ticket in fact it advises agaist this it shows you how to defend yourself USING the law
