Well, the article suggests its not going to be the programme's best idea.

Don't bother. Its a car crash.
But on a blind bend too.

It's a p-take.
Rapper P Diddy releases a spoof video showing him starring in hit period drama series Downton Abbey. The US star 'announces' he is to be the British show's first black cast member and appears, superimposed, in scenes with the programme's lead characters. Diddy tweeted on Wednesday he would be joining the cast of Downton, which later turned out to be a hoax promotion for the skit
Thanks Cos. Yeah, I later read it ta.
Hollywood star Paul Giamatti has been cast in the fourth series of Downton Abbey, it has been confirmed.
The Sidewaysactor will play Harold Levinson, the brother of Cora (Elizabeth McGovern) and the son of Martha (Shirley MacLaine).
Giamatti's character is described as a "maverick playboy".
Carnival Films' managing director, Gareth Neame said: "We're excited that Paul Giamatti will be joining us on Downton to play Cora's brother Harold, the rather free-spirited uncle to Mary and Edith.
"We can't wait to see him work alongside Shirley Maclaine, who are both sure to upset the Grantham's apple cart in this year's Christmas Day episode."
Hugh Bonneville, Dame Maggie Smith, Michelle Dockery, Shirley MacLaine and Jim Carter will all return for the show's fourth run later this year.
They will be joined by new cast members Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Tom Cullen, Julian Ovenden, Nigel Harman, Joanna David and Dame Harriet Walter.
Death in Paradise and Bluestone 42 actor Gary Carr has also joined the cast as a "charming and charismatic" jazz singer named Jack Ross.
The first pictures of Downton Abbey series four have emerged.
Lady Mary Crawley, played by Michelle Dockery, is seen in one image holding baby George while standing next to Tom Branson (Allen Leech), who is carrying baby Sybil.
The last series ended with Mary giving birth to her son shortly before husband Matthew (Dan Stevens) died in a car crash.
Her brother-in-law Tom lost his wife Sybil (Jessica Brown Findlay) last series when she died during childbirth, meaning they are both single parents. Daisy Lewis has been cast as Tom's new love interest
Other pictures from the upcoming episodes show Lady Rose MacClare (Lily James), Daisy Mason (Sophie McShera) and Mr Carson (Jim Carter).
Speaking of the new series, John Bates actor Brendan Coyle told Digital Spy: "I'm going to stick my neck out and say it's our best series ever.
"It's certainly my best series ever. I'm really, really grateful for Julian [Fellowes] for that. My storylines are phenomenal... And I'm not going to die in a car crash!"
Downton Abbey is expected to return to ITV in September.
The show was recently nominated in 12 categories at this year's Emmy Awards, including 'Drama Series'.
Can't wait for it to return, but not looking forward to the aftermath of the car crash.
22nd September, Downton returns
i totally miss Erin she was great in here
I've been watching all the repeats on ITV3 on the weekday afternoons. I hope this new series has a slower pace and isn't in a rush to tidy up any loose ends by the end of each episode. Hopefully that won't happen now that all the main actors are tied into a 2 year contract
Agree with the comment regarding our missing forum chum
I didn't like the Christmas episode either, Sweet as it seemed forced and/or rushed.
'citing...

It was that sort of a series wasn't it Baz? Forgettable but still addictive.
And remind me... who won BB this summer?
They did ask silly question though.... now.... should I pour a glass of white, or put the kettle on. I have 11 minutes to decide. Well... 8... I'll need to wee and make the drink too. (those two aren't connected btw)
Here we go... enjoy everybody!
