I wonder if you saw "From Scotland with love" on television  a few weeks ago. 75 minutes of archival film clips of Scotland from the last 100 years set to music by Kid Creosote. Utterly wonderful.

As you might expect I wanted to continue with Boardwalk but Mrs Jer wanted to watch the Afghanistan based nonsense with that lass out of Benders with the teeth. I'm sure we aren't the only ones who think Downtown is a crock, but trust me! BBC's effort was worse. As I sat there with my smug face and t'Grauniad crossword (I may need some help) Mrs Jer was repeatedly heard to shout FFS at our tellybox. There's an hour we won't get back.
