David Cameron has held crisis talks at  Downing Street after being told of allegations of a sensational love affair  which has potentially significant political implications for him.

For legal reasons, The Mail on Sunday cannot  disclose the identities of the people involved or any details of the  relationship – even its duration – other than that they are middle-aged figures.  The affair has now concluded.

But this newspaper can report that when aides  told Mr Cameron the identities of the alleged lovers he was ‘stunned’, and,  according to sources, ‘immediately realised the importance of the  story’.

The Prime Minister and his aides also  discussed the possible fallout should details of the affair become public – and  how such disclosure could ‘blow out of the water’ any major political set pieces  planned by No 10.

One senior source told this newspaper last  night: ‘This revelation is dynamite. None of us could believe it when we first  heard it. Then we just thought, “What a complete mess

There have been many stories involving Hague, but who cares? whatever the story, I put it down to the current power struggle in the Tory Party. One expects an eventual surge to the right.

It appears that two middle aged cabinet ministers (both married) have been shagging each other. The affair has now ended. The Daily Mail has the story and knows the names but cannot print them for “legal reasons.”  Call Me Dave is said to be shit scared as this is explosive and will apparently blow him off course. Er …what course?
Given that the Cabinet contains a good few closet homosexuals we should not assume that this affair involves any women. A few of the Cabinet, like Sir George Young, are too old to be runners and riders in the great Downing Street sex scandal. But elsewhere who knows? 

Cash for questions, back to basics sex scandals it is right back to 1995…all we need now is a new single from Oasis and a battle with the next release from Blur.

The "crisis" wasn't mentioned on Sky News...I thought it would be top story but Turkey was - can't see mention of it on Sky's website either. Has the story been shut down
