Without trying to take the thread off subject, its kinda like algebra.......where did that come in useful?. *As you were everyone*

it's not a new thing , one only has to look at the  atrocities  committed against the poles by the russians in ww2 to realise this.

Or we could read the Old Testament!

Yes Blizz, you're right. It's been around since Methuzelar.

You can see where I'm coming from though?  Some men don't think (or maybe think with a different part of their anatomy)

I just don't agree with, that because of historical evidence that it can then be applied to all men.

Even if i was soldier i wud never never rape anyone

Is that the problem? Just because it's written in history, that's what men think they should do?

No, I don't and I object to women being made to feel that they should believe that and constantly think about keeping themselves safe from them.

That's one of the main points of the Slutwalks and plenty of men are joining in the walks.

You are a very nice bloke and I wish there were more like you. I'm sure there are, but 40 years of experience says no.

No you got me wrong - it was suggested by Germaine Greer that "under the right circumstances all soldiers will rape". She based it on historical evidence

Yeah? then she's wrong obviously. It's the men that can't keep their articles in their pants that annoy me

I think that's kind of diverting from the topic of this thread.

of course all men are potential rapists.

if an officer held a gun  a gun to  yolur head  and told you  to inflict rape on innocents, you are asking us to belive you wouldn't comply?

cos you are a nice guy....

That's true, to a certain extent.

Hearing child soldiers talk about how they were forced to commit horrendous crimes and how it eventually became the norm, is quite horrifying.

You're the one that's applying it to all men, I didn't see any other post in the thread applying the potential to rape to all men?

And as I said earlier she is talking utter shite, thats like saying under the right circumstances all men are capable of Paedophilia...

stonks

This is a disgraceful attitude, especially from that solicitor.  There are some very good posts on here, about how its MEN that need educating on how to behave and treat women, not WOMEN who need to dress differently.  How DARE anyone suggest that women virtually deserve to be raped if you can see their cleavage or legs?!

As someone pointed out; women of all ages and religions, (even women who are mostly covered up,) get sexually abused/assaulted/raped.  So this is a big crock.  OMG how offensive and rude.  I am fuming!  And how ironic that this solicitors daughter is dressed that way!  She does NOT have the figure or legs for that outfit either  Maybe he should lecture his daughter on how to dress!  Cheeky bastard!
