My water utility is the only one in the country implementing a hose ban

do you have a large garden?

Reasonably Renton ....we live on a corner plot , so have large front garden and fair sized back garden ....at least it used to feel like that when I was mowing it

Our neighbour has a barrel thing that captures the rain water from the drain pipes - have you tried that?

I suppose you can still use a watering can?

I have thought about that in past ....and yes , I can still use watering cans ...so I’ll keep fit  And it doesn’t start til 5th August ....so hopefully it will be raining by then

First time I've seen a second bloom

 Excellent.

I won't mention the front garden aherm . . .

We have an electric raker and I get carried away sometimes and half removed the front lawn about 6 weeks ago leaving huge empty patches LOL

It's only just recovering

Yes, we got a bit of a shock by the time my son had finished.

Whoops

Buy some evergreen and mix them. 2 (or 3) parts evergreen to 1 part 'other stuff'. that way you should get  some Evergreen benefit but gradually use up the other stuff and not totally  lose your money.
