Late one night, I was going out to our garage.

When the outside light came on, there was a hedgehog running across the garden.

I screamed and the hedgehog curled into a ball (poor thing, I must have scared it almost as much as it scared me).

I had no idea they could run so fast.

Hedgehogs give me the heebie geebies, dont know why ..........

 I didn't mean to scare it - it gave me a fright too.

I'm very careful when I go to the garage at night now.

Well she's in after a struggle.

Let's hope this hedgie is related to Merlene Ottey.

I've had a little hedgehog in the back garden for about 2 years. I don't know if it's the same, no idea how long they live, but I've seen the kittens having a wee go in the beginning, but not anymore.

Errrr, Sonic the Hedgehog? He's the fastest land animal in the world

Some years ago we had two hedgehogs mating in the front garden ........................you had to hear it to believe the noise that they made - I thought I had a duck quacking out there.

To be fair though - it could well be a painful experience - a bit prickly and all that ............ow ow ow ow ow
