Does Sophie really deserve to win?

It looks like Sophie could be the last one out on Friday but does someone who has only really been a Housemate for the last 3 weeks really deserve it?
For the first 5 or so weeks she was virtually silent, simply echoing what Kris had to say and following Lisa's nomination party line.
After Kris went she bonded with Rodrigo, another HM who has coasted to the final, but still pretty much did what Lisa told her. Pretty much right up to the eviction of Bea the only way she stayed in the public eye was her faux drunken antics whenever she was within sniffing distance of a can of cider.
Then, with the advent of the magazines she seized her chance and now a camera cant blink without Sophie expressing her " outrage" at being used by Kris, conveniently forgetting that she was the one who made a play for him.
Now, in the final week we've got a Sophie who is perceptive, funny and wittily self-deprecating. Where the hell was that Sophie for the previous 12 weeks?

Very well written post... and I agree, I think if she wins it will be because Siavash didn't get enough votes.. more a default thing.. she hasn't done enough to win, she hasn't had very much thrown at her compared to siavash.. none of them have...but.... out of whats left in there besides Siavash.. I would rather see her take the title then david charlie or roddy

I know. It's a complete mystery. If she'd been behaving as she does latterly earlier, I'd have really liked her, but it's come too late for me to find her truly worthy of winning.

I must admit, I never really took any notice of her to begin with

but she has blossomed in the last few weeks. she's obviously more fun without kris.

Since there aren't alot of goodies to choose from, I think Sophie winning would be alot better than most of the others - apart from Siavash of course

I'd be happy if Rodders and Soph were the final two, they seem to have had the most genuine relationship in the house this year.

Really what bothers me is that she's been a classic radar dodger for most of the series, unlike Siavash, or even Charlie to give him his due. So now while all the real players in the house are pretty much exhausted Sophie can come out of her box in mint condition, as Marcus might say, and sail through. Doesn't seem right somehow.

she never seems fazed by being put up for eviction

she always seems as if she couldn't care less one way or another & that says alot imo.

Sophie has managed to get male fans (well of course she would I suppose!

) and she's also endeared herself to the female voters which is unheard of for a glamour model in the BB House that's for sure

.

I like that she'll probably be as bald as a coot by Friday and can laugh about it

Not really, dull and shallow also very ditzy but nice girl who prides herself only on her massive boobs but if she gets the most votes she must deserve it although theres been far more entertaining housemates not my winner at all. Her breaking ranks with Team Lisa did the trick.

The reason she will win is because the others are disliked more than her.
She has done very little, where as the others have done nothing but irritate.
Although she may get the male vote, Siavash gets a lot of his votes because of his looks so we can not hold that against her.

She was lucky to get away from Kris

and I liked the fact that she didn't really go running to him when he was there or follow him around. I can remember Kris saying to her "You never come over to me .. I always go to you and it's making me look a right d*ck" or something like that lol.

Well, climbing into bed with Kris so quickly should have ruined her chances – a huge mistake by any standards. But what we have seen over 13 weeks is a housemate whose positives have outweighed her negatives – no hiding or dodging was necessary.

I found it quite telling during Freddie’s interview with Davina that behaviour expert, Judi James, stated that there was a lot more to come from Sophie.

It's easy for people to blankly say she deserves to win but it's alot harder for them to give genuine reasons why.

Want Siavash to win but wouldn't mind if Sophie did. Can't believe I'm saying this, 'cos I usually can't stand thicko Barbie doll types BUT, she's been a v pleasant suprise. Yeah, she's had a few unfortunate 'moments,' but she's probably been the least bitchy and most genuine hm this year- what you see is what you get. She has a mind of her own and will say what she thinks rather than always go along with the crowd, doesn't take herself too seriously, laughs at herself and always puts 100% into the tasks. Bad move her getting involved with Kris and 'Team Lisa' but she really came into her own after Kris left and that was nearly 8 weeks ago - all down to the edit too, what did we see for e.g. of Rodrigo in those first 5 weeks other than teeth brushing? Yeah, on balance, she would be a worthy winner

Is it a genuine enough reason that she has been the one housemate that has enticed me to watch the show, without fail - every night, from Day 1 to day 91? The housemate that over 3 months has brought out an array of emotions in me, ranging from despair to ecstasy, and the housemate who stimulates me to post on this forum morning, noon and night?

This is all new to me - no housemate that i have previously supported have made it beyond week 8; and there were times that i did not even think Sophie would make it to that stsge. For instance, up for eviction in Week 6 (with the already popular Siavash) - before nominations had even been made; had Karly not been nominated that week, Sophie could easily have gone home!

I wouldn't be bothered if Rodrigo or Siavash won; but i believe that Sophie deserves to win just as much as they do - and i fail to see reasons why i should be voting for a different housemate.
