Does Noirin have anything reassembling a friendship with Karly or Sophie?

Other than the friendship between Karly and Sophie, the girls all seem to have stronger bonds with the guys, than with each other. Although this may be due to the numerical difference between genders – an imbalance that has been in place since the opening weekend; I’m not convinced that the bonds would have been any different even without this numerical difference.

So, what is the situation between Noirin and the other girls – and can you see them becoming closer as the series progresses and group numbers decline?

Absolutely no connection whatsoever. I'm sure she thinks herself above them and I can't see that changing unless another girl similar to her joins them. Then she'll team up with the devil she knows.

IMO, Noirin is a very shrewd shrew. She is trying to establish herself as Alpha and the boss. She will step over everyone in order to win. I don't think she has any interest in any of the housemates other than what they can do for her.

Right now, she knows that Lisa has a stranglehold over the other housemates and is trying to ingratiate herself with them. She knows all she has to do is give Sree a hug and she has him where she wants him. The same with her chats with Marcus. I think she is humouring him to keep him sweet.

She doesn't see Karly and Sophie as competition so pretty much ignores them.

Simple. She's in a different place to the other girls. She's working in Retail not a model. She also has 5 brothers so she's more comfortable in male company.

I haven't seen any connection between Noirin and the other girls. Noirin comes across as wanting to be very much top dog and doesn't see them as any kind of competition.
She bitches with Lisa but i wouldn't call it a friendship.

In the early days of the show Noirin made barbed comments about both girls. With Sophie in particular, Noirin pays her compliments in a group situation, but i cannot help but think she is merely telling Sophie what she wants to hear.

I know some FM's would like to see Noirin up for eviction, but she does seem savvy enough to keep most of the group onside, for the time being at least.

I don't think she just does that with the girls either, e.g. when she told Freddie he hadn't done anything wrong to be nominated and yet she nominated him herself. If anyone is game playing in there its her

She has to tell Sophie what she wants to hear, or else Charlie, Kris,Lisa and Karly will be on her back and won't let it drop

To be fair to Noirin, Sophie? She can hardly string two sentences together and is permanently growing like a shrub on Kris.

Karly is just as shrewd as Noirin, and wants to be at the end just as much as Noirin. Both women don't want to get too close to each other, both of them are strong competitors.

I can imagine before noirin came into the house she knew there'd be a vacuous bimbo...she wasn't expecting two.

And having 5 younger brothers she is bound to be comfortable with males.

I can't see her and the girls having any common ground. I had hopes for karly at the start, but she is plummeting into the mire at a rate of knots. She has had zero opinion on anything for the first three weeks....and now all we see is her bitching with lisa or kris.

Noirin will do better to steer well clear. Would be interesting to see her reaction to a new female hm tho.
