even nearer Bill's statue at Porta Westfalica. I've cycled up there several times.
MILs family actually live in Todenmann!..so yous very close!!
I think the Tories are stuck on the war issue, we all know Bliar lied and schemed with Bush to go to war in Iraq, and has the blood of thousands on his hands, but unfortunately there was cross party agreement based on the lies Bliar told.
I think Cameron should be given a chance, he has shown he has the ability to talk the tough talk with regard to getting us out of this massive mess Brown has got us into and continues to get us into.
That said I would rather see Kermit the frog in power to the personalityless drab idea less ditherer Brown.

Seeing as how the Tories backed the Iraq war I can understand them keeping stum I agree.
Although the default excuse is, "We backed it 'cos little Tony Blair told us!" Even though the man in the street knew there were no WMD, and knew that Al Qaida and Sadman were at opposite ends of the spectrum.
I was amazed at the time that so many believed Saddam had weapons aimed at the West, fear stories all over the Press, well they love the fear factor anyway. Bush before he got into office wanted to avenge his father for what he perceived as a threat from Saddam to Bush Snr, that was known by many before war was sanctioned by Bush and Blair became a party to it. So many have died because of Bush's agenda, he should be put on trial and I know many Americans online who think this should happen.Although the default excuse is, "We backed it 'cos little Tony Blair told us!" If Cameron gets in there may be some changes but what I bet won't change is what never changes despite which party is in control. The tax on petrol, cigs and alcohol will go up. The tv License will go up, the very rich won't be affected by any tax increase or inheritance laws. To me it's the same old same old.

Christmas Markets...........and whether yer can get a fag paper betwixt the tories and the tories nu labour.
The philosophy's different. The Tories have a core philosophy. NuLabour play it by ear, trying for the populist vote. But they naturally tend towards nanny state, illiberal left-wingy-ness and financial profligacy. Which is core Old Labour.Reference:

You must visit the top right sometime. We'd love a bit of nanny state here. Rather that than the continuous selling off of all things public to bunch of crooks private interests.
I like David Cameron... i've actually listened with interest in what he has to say whether right or wrong, got to snap out of anything to do with politics.
