As far as I know, and I`ve read almost everything about this,Casey was brought up in a loving family environment. Not perfect, Mum and Dad had their arguments and problems like most couples do but according to her relatives/Granny/Aunts/ Uncles etc, she was a very happy child..spoiled by her parents..wanted for nothing.

She`s been tested during this and hasn`t been diagnosed with a mental illness. 

Others who haven`t tested her but studied her say.. she has the traits of sociopath/psycopath (sp)

Who knows? 

From what I`ve seen, read and heard testimony to..Casey is very much in control of her actions. She evaluates and calculates well. She fools people. She`s believable...enigmatic.

Sorry to go on Ev but...and I don`t know if you know this. Just before she was charged with murder she was in court for cheque fraud charges. She stole her best friend`s cheque book and treated her and Tony to all sorts. Before that, she stole multiple times from her mother`s bank account, stole a cheque from her grandfather`s cheque book (while she was visiting him in the nursing home) Stole money from her Grandmother..it goes on and on. 

In my opinion. Casey knows what she`s doing and what Casey does - is all for Casey.

I can imagine her having traits of some mental illness. If she was abused and i feel she was, then it doesnt stand for a loving family home, to the ouside its what they show, but like most families like this, it is kept secret.

If this is true then she can have dissociation traits and one of them is to block things out and only consider her own needs.

I feel this is more the case, im sure many agree with me and many like yourself will disagree.

This will also account for her stealing and other  things she will have no conscience about. Classic actions. 

Tragic case, tragic for her daughter. I do feel she has some mental illness if she either neglected her daughter in order to pursue a selfish life, or she neglected and injured her daughter, or if she deliberately killed her daughter.

I think she has traits of mental illness too Ev. I`m not an expert so I don`t know what caused her to be like this. Maybe it`s just in her makeup? Who knows? 

She and the defense are claiming her behaviour and keeping the secret of how Caylee died, is due to being sexually abused by her father and molested by her brother. This only came into play a few months ago. I don`t believe it for a minute. 

Her first story: Zanny the Nanny kidnapped Caylee. She stuck with this for 2 years (even after Caylee`s body was found) while the world and it`s granny hunted for the Nanny. 

After this was fully exhausted and no was Nanny found, Casey finally admitted there was never a Nanny. 

Next story: It was an accidental death in the swimming pool. George forced her to agree to getting rid of Caylee`s body because her mother would be furious that Casey was neglectful in letting Caylee get into the pool. So George hid the body somewhere, Roy Kronk, a complete stranger, somehow found body, hid it for months, buried it in the swamp, reported to the police he`d found it in order to claim a reward.

And the reason Casey has languished in prison for nearly 3 years, saying nothing about this or the sexual abuse (until a few months ago) was because she wanted to protect her sexually abusive father.

It`s a fantasy story - much like the life she portrayed she had, working for Universal etc etc.  

In a strange way, I actually have some sympathy for her but to put her family through this long drawn out torture and to accuse her father and brother of such vile acts, in order to save her own skin - is beyond belief to me.

Legal eagles say, that if it was accidental death, and she had told the truth, she could have been looking at 7yrs. She would be free in possibly a year - with time served. 

The prosecution don`t believe it was. They believe it was a pre-meditated deliberate killing, with the research for how to make chloroform, how to neck break and the rest. Also that Casey`s head and mouth were duct taped. I think they`re going with, she used chloroform to knock her out, then duct taped her to stop her breathing. Basically smothering her. She wanted to be free to live "the beautiful life" without the burden of being a single Mum.  

I agree with them.

Yes, it is a tragic case but I hope justice is served for Caylee.

The proscecution is asking him about the day he discovered his shed had been broken into and the gas cans had been stolen.

Geroge Anthony is being questioned about the garden shed that Casey broke into to get the gas cans.

Casey has told so many lies, is a typical Pathological liar , no remore, no feelings, no empathy or thought for leaving her daughter while she persued her own life, while she went out, going out knowing her daughter was dead, all traits of a sociopath 

The Father seems a bit odd, his stuff isnt adding up, but i will reserve my judgement until after i have listened to all he has to say , sociopaths are very cunning, clever, charming, they charm you in, outwardly act normal, are calculated, no one can tell straight of at first sight if a person has these traits .

Maybe the Father is as well, who knows. 

What we do know is that Casey and her Father both knew about her death well before the mother, who then it was the mother who reported her grandchild missing.
