This witness sounds nervous but she is being very precise and exact.

 Shaw says he cannot say for sure the hair came from a decomposing body. The study was not done in Florida. It was done in Virginia during cold months. Baez says heat plays a major role in decomposition in hair

Not the best witness or evidence i feel.

The reporters in court are speculating a lot about the Jury members today, 2 female jurors taking notes.

Reporters commenting about how the jury are still all the original ones, none have had to step down for any reason so far.The jurors sitting closest to the witness pay the most attention. Like kids in front row of class.jury taking very few notes of this cross. Most just listening. Jury number 4 is the most distant and without much outward signs.Who gives very little away.

Jurors number 14 15 and 16 are the closest, by way of chatting, and nodding in agreement with each other. There is also one who lies with his head on the back wall, lol, and i can't find what number juror he is at the moment.

It is the first time the jury hears of the heart-shaped outline found on the duct tape. They have never heard this mentioned before today. Fontaine who works in FBI latent print unit says she did not photograph this. Fontaine is 2nd person to look at duct tape. 3 pieces examined. She looks for visible prints first.

She`d seen the photos before. She was acting for the jury imo.  

She watched, without a problem, the superimposed video of Caylee with duct tape on her mouth and nose slowy decomposing, when the jury were out of the court room . As soon as they returned - she suddenly couldn`t bear to watch it.

I agree, she does look detached and seems like she doesn`t realise what`s a stake at times but most times she`s fully concentrated and thinking about herself - not Caylee or the torture she`s putting her family through - only herself.    

She looks at State witnesses with her sneer as if saying  "What the hell are YOU doing here testifying against ME you rotter?"

State May wrap up tomorrow afternoon!!  earlier than expected. Defense may start Wednesday.

 Judge says we are ahead of schedule.

Looks like it`s almost over for today. 

State could finish tomorrow - defence may start on Wednesday and the trial could be finished by the 25th!  

Doesn`t look like the defence have too many witnesses.

Looks like it may be finished a lot earlier than anticipated.

Ooooooooooooh jurors - we've got a half day - shame we're not serving on the jury in Florida - we could have gone to Disneyland for the afternoon 

Judge Perry says about dates,  "that could be all subject to change though----We are ahead of schedule ... I kind of think that maybe by the end of next week we will conclude all of the evidence in this case." 

So It could go to jury for deliberation as early as the 25th, thats the earliest though, may possibly be later.

It does. Legal analysts are saying Casey is obviously not taking the stand. ( it was rumoured she might) I`m not shocked. Who would believe anything that came out of her mouth?

It finished early - back at 6 tomorrow - the prosecution have (shortened) their witness list I think and the next (and I think final) witness isn't available until 1pm (tomorrow)

Thanks Soozy, i have been out most of the day. Any reason for this, has something happened "behind the scenes" ? Or is my imagination going into overdrive , again ....x
