These things deserve satire far sharper than anything I can deliver.

I have no problem with people being interested in crime and it's follow up.  But it's how you approach it and treat it.  Torch-wielding witch hunts went out of fashion before Shakespeare you know.

No, Profile, I am guilty of laughing at posters of imaginary friends, and crazyness from the defence funny, and the case entertainment...But then My Grandad used to find war films entertaining, and I am sure that didn't mean he found the war funny.

Oh, and I was never certain of the outcome...I hoped for a different outcome, and yes, I am disappointed it is not different, but if you people actually bother to read what is put infront of you, you would see I was actually on that Facebook group saying how she deserved the benifit of the doubt....

infact, if you bother to read the group on FB which you refer to, and go right ot the bottom, I made a post saying UUUrrrghhh, and underneath that, you would, if you bother to read, see that this was said

" Id like to take this oppertunity to out ****zazz*** (blanked my name) as someone who beleives she didnt do it *faints*"

So,how is that having her hung drawn and quatered from the start?

Possibly not trial for treason as it was happening in WWII though eh?

After the event films versus current events is a poor analogy.  Even I can do better than that and most of the time I'm dribbling.

Poor example or not, It is pointing out that while something maybe sad, sick, twisted, or whatever words you want to use, it can still be classed as entertaining.

This is getting silly.............

Caylee died how/why?....do you have an opinion, having listened?

Or are you just out to make this thread a  goulish soap opera?

Well Syd you clapped at a comment about a war film to agree with silly  things as well.

It's OK, last time I checked you couldn't go to prison for expressing an opinion. Afterall it's the common 'goto' response when a poster pulls another poster up on something they have said, and they have no intelligent response.

My thoughts ... hmmmm, well, I'm pleased justice has prevailed and a life wasn't prematurely ended just because over emotional people who were incapable of rational thought WANTED to see someone hang.

It boils down to facts, and the simple fact is, there was no evidence linking Casey to Caylee's death.

1st degree murder has to find someone guilty beyond all reasonable doubt, if there's an ounce of doubt, then it has to be not guilty, which was the case here.

On the matter of child neglect though, I feel that could have been a guilty verdict. Leaving your child with someone you hardly know, for a month, and not checking on her certainly seems like neglect in my eyes, but hey ho.

I've shown you mine now, are you going to show me yours?

Stockholm

I just had a thought........Maybe we should all have not taken any notice, and turned on Jeremy Kyle, Eastenders, Corrie..............

I did'nt and I watched,  smiled, laughed, shouted, cried, through the trial and posted likewise, as did Casey Anthony (she did'nt post here).......She is innocent, except for Lying......

Yes, yes it does....

I've not expressed an opinion, appropriate or otherwise on it. I did however laugh at the opinions expressed by some where theyknew the outcome before even the first day was out. Those were, are and will continue to be laughable.

Does that ^^^ ring a bell with you?

Only my comment there that you have quoted wasn't said from day one, was it? that was fairly recently.

You said it, sunshine.

Yep, I stand by it too, it was entertaining! Entertainment comes in many forms, I don't find you that funny, but I still class you as entertainment!

I have not followed this thread.

I treated the case with the reverence it deserved and listened to the facts and formed my own opinions without the influence of others.

A bit like a person on the jury who can't discuss the case, you could say.

It's OK I don't really value your opinion enough to want to hear it.

I was only asking out of politeness as you seemed eager to stick to discussing the outcome of the case.

Now we have established you have no such interest, can we get back to pointing and laughing at all the torch wielding, inbred, half sighted, self serving idiots in here?

I'm not trawling the thread looking for everything you've said on the matter, Zazz.  We both know what you have - one easily found example will suffice to demolish your claim. " I was never certain of the outcome ".  Careful that nose doesn't get all Pinnochio on you.

As to that ringing a bell.  Of course it does.  I wrote it.  I have a fairly crap memory but it's not that bad.  What part of it is confusing you?

By saying what I think, ie: the post up there^^^ That is/was my opinion..I don't think that indicates I was CERTAIN of the outcome, Just that is what I thought, and hoped for...and like I said, I stand by the fact I am shocked at the outcome, but then so is most of America, and a good majority of people who watched and followed it....

Oh, and the bit confusing me is where you suggested that opinion was held from day one, and yet when pointed in the direction of proof that that wasnt the case...well...you don't seem to want to accept that point, not that it matters, becasue even if I had held that opinion from the start, it shouldn't be an issue for you, or anyone else really.

Oh noes!!! I sound childish to you?

Whatever shall I do??

Shall I pretend I want to be an adult and say I want to stick to discussing the original reason for this thread because I'm not getting my own way and have my knickers in a twist and then fold my arms and say "I'm not playing" when someone attempts to open a dialogue with me about the original reason for this thread?

Would that make me sound more mature do you think?

Making sense about your real problem upon stumbling into a thread .... and being rude to the posters on the post in this thread, without bothering to read the thread...or quoting the real posts that have caused you such distress.....

Your evidence for this is what?  You may be right or wrong - I don't know.  It does worry me a little though that you speak for "EVERYONE" and now know the minds of most of the US and indeed the majority of people who watched it.

You're not God are you?  Omniscience was a big thing with him I see to recall and I'm not sure I'm up to intellectual chit chat with The Deity.

Out of interest btw, why do you think the members of the public, good men and true, who actually sat in on the case delivered the verdict they did.  Assuming you're not him upstairs and actually know this stuff, I'm happy just to hear you theory.  Does seem a bit odd to me.

As to opinion from day 1, we both know I can find other examples going back much further where you express solid faith in the outcome.  The example I found was simply the first and easiest.  And you stated you had never held that opinion.  Simply put, that is untrue.

I stated I didnt hold that opinion from day one...and I didnt...No matter how hard you try, you will not find me saying anything about her being guilty from day one.

The example you found, where I said how she knows shes done it, and going down...is/was my opinion...what of it? That is what I thought, and that is still what I think should have happened.

I did NOT say I NEVER held that opinion, I said I didnt hold it from day 1 which was what had previously been suggested.

Why they delievered the verdict they did? well, who knows,I am guessing because they felt there was not enough evidence, however,  I still think the verdict was wrong and unjust....

I am not "speaking FOR everyone" I am speaking for myself, and pointing out that a million other people hold the same veiw, You only have to read a few sites to see that.

Out of interest, BTW, what are your veiws, do you think the outcome was justice for both Caylee and Casey?

zazz

If she's released on Thursday - where can she possibly go? I accept that she's been found not guilty (can't see why TBH) ..............can she go back to her parents? Will Cindy welcome her with open arms? How will George be feeling?

I think we can still discuss things here can't we? I think it's probably best to ignore people who've just popped in to stir something out of nothing.
