My blood pressure is down now that Baez is strapped into his baby seat.

No matter what we think of Casey, it`s good to see, at last, a defence attorney conducting themselves professionally and representing her in the way she deserves.

It`s a breath of fresh air.

Edit to say:  Ok, she got nowhere but at least it was civil.

The jurors do not need a break, they wish to continue with the cross examine soon after sidebar.

One man poking about with a stick ............probably half an hour in total. Doesn't prove very much IMO. it was a big area .....................was it that close to where the remains were eventually stumbled across? In that sort of area - in that dense undergrowth - often underwater - needle in a haystack IMO.

I think all the defence wish to convey across to jury is that this area was searched thoroughly, nothing was found, meaning Caylee's remains were put here AFTER Casey was in jail. As she was in Jail when the remains were found.

Does one man poking about with a stick constitute a thorough search? If I was a juror I don't think I'd be convinced TBH!

Well i imagine they refer to a few of the people who checked that area, and people representing the prosecution as well.

Yes but I'm pretty sure they're trying to make up for lost time. It's only 6.30pm in Florida - I'm sure the jury are happy to put in the time to make up for all the lost hours.

Well thats exactly it. They will be making up for lost time. There may be a few later nights as well leading up to the closing statements.

OOh Mr Casey has just said he is finding it difficult as he is having trouble hearing, or with his hearing, about time he mentioned this.

He heard the defence clear enough!

Well he is certainly entertaining the jury. Juror 16 is trying really hard not to burst into full out laughter. He has covered his mouth with his hand. Lots of jurors giggling at his questions about am i allowed to say this? and then get told to stop when he starts to talk about someone in here say.

I have missed so much, and everytime I try and catch up now, I cant seem to "get it"

Is she gonna get hung or what?

It's late - it's complicated ....................IMO it's not been a good day for the defence but I may be biased. The guy on the stand right now is an out and out tosser though IMO.

Yes you would want to get up there and say something, but i know even those who really want to speak out in trials defending themselves are TOLD they are to do what they do. She will at the end of the day have to go on the advice of her team.

I can't see her getting the death penalty if i had to put money on it, but what will happen now after last weeks eye opener, regarding what Cindy said on the stand last week, i have no idea where this case is going, even this close to the end.

Not really, if she thought ANYTHING of her daughter, she would, regardless of advice (which is, just that, advice. I know I have ignored advice loads of times in my life ) just admit to it.

It's pretty sad when you think about the publicity the woman has got through murdering her daughter, bit sick really. And if she is ever going to feel remorse, surley that would be now? and with remorse comes admitting what you have done, really IMO she should just let them lock her up and throw away the key, for the sake of  everyone who is involved....Including you mad lot!! I dont know what you are all going to do when this is over
