I have never seen Les Mis...   but Ickle & I are partial to a musical, and that looked quite good...

we're gonna give it a go at some point.

one question...   Sooz - is it a happy ending?    Just a yes or no will do

I am not keen on sad endings, but if I am forewarned then at least I am prepared for it (and make sure I do not get emotionally attached to any of them)

If you survived E.T, you can survive any movie's ending.

Two words - bitter sweet.

The music is wonderful (I painted my kitchen singing along to the CD on Sunday) - it's not really an uplifting story though. I suppose the clue is in the title.

We do a pretty neat 'One Day More' duet

i just rung my son - he told me that one of the girls who was in Nancy (Oliver) came third is playing Iponine.

My son and I were doing duets from JC Superstar down the phone the other night - we're planning to book Manchester when it returns after the search for Jesus - that's another of my faves.

This debut trailer has landed online for Tom Hooper’s (The King’s Speech) film adaptation of Victor Hugo’s 1862 novel and stage musical, ‘Les MisÃĐrables.’ The cast for the musical epic is stellar, it features Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean, Russell Crowe as Javert, Amanda Seyfried as Cosette, Anne Hathaway as Fantine, Samantha Barks as Eponine, Aaron Tveit as Enjolras, Eddie Redmayne as Marius, and Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter as Monsieur Thenardierto and Madame ThÃĐnardier respectively. ‘Les MisÃĐrables’ arrives in cinemas December 7th in the US and January 11th in the UK
