Slim, I dunno what the game is, BUT it needs 2.4ghz processor and a min of 256mb Graphics card (512 would be better) My problem is, its an xmas pressie for a kid and all the gaming lappys are at least 800, and was only really wanting to spend 500....600 MAX Now I have found a couple of lappys but seems what bumps the price LOADS is the processor....if it says it has say 2ghz dual core...do ya run at double that? i.e 4ghz Ive confused meself there, hope that makes sense of some kind

Well i would say that if the dual core speed is 2ghz x 2 then you can expect it to run the equivalent of 4 ghz, Dual core is like 2 processors in the 1 main chip. Remember to run that game you need to get a lappy that has graphics built in to it, so it will say either Nvidia or ATI dont buy  one for games that doesnt have Nvidia or ATI sticker on it. I bought a similar lappy for my son and it cost only ÂĢ400  from comet.

Thats the conclusion i had come to slim, Ive found a few lappys wiv half decent graphics cards but the processor aint been up to scratch, or the other way round...proper annoying! Its gonna be round the 800 quid mark, or getting him a desktop which can be upgraded when ya like at ease, But telling a kid this is not so easy, they tend to stick to what they want lol
