I can't see how you say that. He has declared his love for noireen and as far as he's concerned that's it ...done and dusted. That's how it is in his culture ............he's just not getting it ....and that's why I see it as cruel.
and I dont see how you can say what you are saying........so basically it would be cruel to let anyone from india come here and integrate in society because its cruel.....
Not at all ........but to put them in a situation like BB watched 24/7 (if only) is cruel. He's making massive social gaffes for everyone to see.
so are they all......marcus included

He's a con man ,he even played Lisa with the crocodile tears!

Absolutely not.
I saw him on you tube dirty dancing.
He's playing a part in there and is probably nothing like that outside the house.
I can't do links if anyone asks but I saw it on a thread about him on ds.
The guys a fraud.
I've seen that too ......it's quite clear from that - that he has no understanding of the correct way to behave. He's simply copying what he's seen but doesn't realise that he's overdoing it. He's desperate to fit in but - it's never gonna happen.
lol the correct way to behave.....are you serious
yeah .........actually I am .......the girls in that video were pretty put off by his behaviour as is Noireen.
There are absolutely no excuses for Srees behaviour, cultural or otherwise.
he's making huge social gaffes because he's a prat

The guy's a pathelogical liar...
Why did he decide to go on BB UK if he is so naive?.....did he play spin the bottle at University and lose out?....
He is the biggest game player in the house....

well I havent seen the video......and yes sree can be a bit creepy BUT so is Marcus .......so imo it has nothing to do with his culture
I have no idea why he was put in there to be honest.
He baffles me, creeps me out, makes me go Grrrrr every day.
Maybe thats what the producer felt in the interview

I think you have a point there, but I don't believe it's anything to do with his culture. He just doesn't have a clue how to behave around women. Also, I don't think that at the age of 25 he should go round saying that he is in love after just a few days. He must know that's a load of boll***s. I would bet if someone asked the girls in his year at uni, they'd all say he was a pain in the backside.

Maybe if he wasn't so self absorbed and listened to people more he would be more aware of how his behaviour comes across. Tonight on the show we saw how he completely ignores people when they talk to him. I think that's a big part of his problem.

To be fair...she doesn't really give a toss, so they kind of played each other. He pretended to sob, she pretended to care.
HAHAHAHA i laugh selling her T.its for a can of cider.......HAHAHAHAHA...(with stir crazy stare in eyes.......whilst looking for lisa to step in and kick of on his behAlf so as he can be knight in shinning armour.....and not look like a poop stirrer
Yes and now that I come to think of it falling in love isn't really a part of his culture anyway as thay have "arranged marriages" and the falling in love part comes after.quote:Originally posted by cologne1:quote:Originally posted by Soozy woo:

I hope he's not trying to use the lovely Noirin.

He is an attention seeker,he's a con man,I think as the weeks go by we will see the real Sree.
exactly how I see him too Erin, the guy is a joker, and his lies will unravel over the weeks.
Thats how I see it too.
Looks like I'm on my own then!
That makes a change.
wouldn't do if we all thought the same way.

He can only play his game by not knowing what others think of him.
I think everyone is over reacting.
He's not malicious. He's not lecherous. He is just annoying and a bit of a leech!
He is also quite amusing to watch, if he doesn't creep you out!

Yes, and that!

to put Sree in the house? It must have been blatantly obvious that he is from a vastly different culture and really doesn't know how to cope in there. Yes I know it both amuses and irritates us but ........he's way out of his depth. He's not only making Nireen uncomfortable but most viewers too.
He was obviously put in for all the wrong reasons. It's not nice really.
I really don't get why he is so lost in understanding our way of speaking. The guy surely has to be intelligent to be studying for a Masters degree. He supposedly lives in a house with two girls and he was chosen to be presdident of the students union.
I mean we have Siavash from Iran who can easily tune into the British way of thinking as well as Ciaron from America.

Apparently, he hasn't just been whipped off the streets of Mumbai and put in the house so that's okay then.

Absolutely not. He has been here for a while now and goes to Uni, so he is used to life in this country. I think he is playig a silly game and is going to come unstuck.
nope, I feel nothing but contempt & disgust for him, I have met many males `of his culture` & they are NOTHING like him.

No no no no no, his problem is his personality type, nothing to DO with his culture. Not all Indian men are like this, and it's a bit ignorant to say they are. A stalker is a stalker is a stalker. The guy is a malignant jealous control freak, and they exist in all races. Trust one who knows

In the same way that George Best and Ollie Reed just liked the odd social drink

hes not out of his depth hes fully aware of what hes doing. Hes not an innocent in this. Hes hiding behind his culture or what she thinks it is to get away with trying to control her. Ive met men like him.

It's not good, is it? And, true to form, when he was threatened by Noirin having a laugh with someone else and he'd lost his imagined control of her, he started on the 'poor me' act and ran off to Lisa, casually dropping it in to the conversation that Marcus has said that Noirin had shown Lisa her boobs already (thus getting Lisa's back up and making Marcus out to be some sort of gossipy creep, nice move Sree you distorter of truth) and asking Lisa to 'save' Noirin.
Yep yep yep, people like him will try to control in any way he can. If he can't be Noirin's imaginary boyfriend, he will build his walls round her in different ways, by asking others to intervene and by smearing those close to her. He makes out he is some sort of victim, while doing Noirin down and trying to make her feel guilty for having a laugh. The man (word used loosely) is a nut case, and a damaging one at that. Unfortunately, he is beyond help, these people think they have some sort of entitlement to troll peoples' lives
It's cruel on my eyes and ears he does my nut in

No!
I believe it's an act with him and not acted well at all! I bet he expects all the women at home are going awwwww shree, he's so innocent, isn't he lovely and want to cuddle him.
I think his lower middle classness (in India)and sense of superiority explains his behaviour as much as any cultural stereo typing regards attitude to women.quote:Originally posted by Lister_of_Smeg:
Sree is from a culture where women have there husbands chosen for them Sree is probably usedto getting his own way with women given the country he comes from no offence to any Indian people on here .

Has he not said that he has a girlfriend outside or someone that his parents have chosen for him?
