NO The way sree is acting has nothing to do with his culture.......its just the way he is

I can't see how you say that. He has declared his love for noireen and as far as he's concerned that's it ...done and dusted. That's how it is in his culture ............he's just not getting it ....and that's why I see it as cruel.

and I dont see how you can say what you are saying........so basically it would be cruel to let anyone from india come here and integrate in society because its cruel..... Confused

Not at all ........but to put them in a situation like BB watched 24/7 (if only) is cruel. He's making massive social gaffes for everyone to see.

so are they all......marcus included

He's playing a part in there and is probably nothing like that outside the house.
I can't do links if anyone asks but I saw it on a thread about him on ds.
The guys a fraud. Nod

I've seen that too ......it's quite clear from that - that he has no understanding of the correct way to behave. He's simply copying what he's seen but doesn't realise that he's overdoing it. He's desperate to fit in but - it's never gonna happen.

lol the correct way to behave.....are you serious

yeah .........actually I am .......the girls in that video were pretty put off by his behaviour as is Noireen.

I think you have a point there, but I don't believe it's anything to do with his culture. He just doesn't have a clue how to behave around women. Also, I don't think that at the age of 25 he should go round saying that he is in love after just a few days. He must know that's a load of boll***s. I would bet if someone asked the girls in his year at uni, they'd all say he was a pain in the backside.

Yes and now that I come to think of it falling in love isn't really a part of his culture anyway as thay have "arranged marriages" and the falling in love part comes after. Nod
I hope he's not trying to use the lovely Noirin. Big Grin

He is an attention seeker,he's a con man,I think as the weeks go by we will see the real Sree.

exactly how I see him too Erin, the guy is a joker, and his lies will unravel over the weeks.

Thats how I see it too.

He can only play his game by not knowing what others think of him.

He was obviously put in for all the wrong reasons. It's not nice really.

I really don't get why he is so lost in understanding our way of speaking. The guy surely has to be intelligent to be studying for a Masters degree. He supposedly lives in a house with two girls and he was chosen to be presdident of the students union.

I mean we have Siavash from Iran who can easily tune into the British way of thinking as well as Ciaron from America.

Apparently, he hasn't just been whipped off the streets of Mumbai and put in the house so that's okay then. Ninja

Absolutely not. He has been here for a while now and goes to Uni, so he is used to life in this country. I think he is playig a silly game and is going to come unstuck.

No no no no no, his problem is his personality type, nothing to DO with his culture. Not all Indian men are like this, and it's a bit ignorant to say they are. A stalker is a stalker is a stalker. The guy is a malignant jealous control freak, and they exist in all races. Trust one who knows Ninja

It's not good, is it? And, true to form, when he was threatened by Noirin having a laugh with someone else and he'd lost his imagined control of her, he started on the 'poor me' act and ran off to Lisa, casually dropping it in to the conversation that Marcus has said that Noirin had shown Lisa her boobs already (thus getting Lisa's back up and making Marcus out to be some sort of gossipy creep, nice move Sree you distorter of truth) and asking Lisa to 'save' Noirin.

Yep yep yep, people like him will try to control in any way he can. If he can't be Noirin's imaginary boyfriend, he will build his walls round her in different ways, by asking others to intervene and by smearing those close to her. He makes out he is some sort of victim, while doing Noirin down and trying to make her feel guilty for having a laugh. The man (word used loosely) is a nut case, and a damaging one at that. Unfortunately, he is beyond help, these people think they have some sort of entitlement to troll peoples' lives Mad

I think his lower middle classness (in India)and sense of superiority explains his behaviour as much as any cultural stereo typing regards attitude to women.
