An absolute waste of space and an embarrassment to the country.  If he was a politician he'd have been sacked ages ago.  It's not so long ago that Andrew's performance in the job was described as arrogant and obnoxious (or similar) and now we learn of his unsavoury connections with a wealthy peadophile.

There must be better people to perform this quite important function than a silver spooned oaf of limited intellect!

Cameron says he has full confidence in Andrew, yeah, bet he has!  Cameron hardly wants a war of words with the Palace before the great show-piece wedding/diversion from ConDem slash and burn.

I don't hate the Royal Family either, but seeing the news tonight, complete with a picture of him with his arm round a 17 year old at the house of the convicted paedophile makes me really doubt that this Government still knows the plot. I, for one, would not deal with a person like that, why should very religious countries still want to?

I don't know the ins and outs of his role but like I said last night; anyone, let alone a public figure, who keeps a friendship with a convicted paedophile isn't someone I would want anywhere near my personage, let alone representing the country I live in.

Oh silly me forgot, we are under Tory law so any dignity or self-respect is not part of the plan *slaps forehead*

I like the Royal family and think they should stay, but Andy's shenanigans leave a lot to be desired just lately.  As for the comments by some - not aimed at anyone on here - they may make eff-ups and act a bit OTT or a bit badly sometimes, but they are actually just human, as someone said earlier, and the constant attacks on them are tedious IMO.  And even though they are 'supposed' to behave, they are bound to slip up now and again.  Thing is, 'some Royals have always been behaving appallingly for many centuries now; far worse than ours today.  I think they should definately stay, and actually think they do a lot more good for this country than people think.  That's my opinion anyway.

He experiences life and those he meets and deals with on a totally different level to us. He won't resign or be asked to by Cameron or anyone else who wants to stay in favour with the Monarchy. With what he does it's all you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours...to use a phrase lol. If what he does fetches trade to the uk I guess that's a good thing, what he has to do to accomplish that is up to his conscious which I don't envy him having. Personally I've no interest in the Royal Family, would it be worse if we had as heads of states what other countries have? in some cases yes maybe in some cases definitely no for countries that have despots ruling the people.

Of course Cameron will stick by him as he is a member of the Royal family. He has cost the taxpayer thousands with his helicopter jaunts etc. Of course he has done a good job when Brit firms are moving operations abroad, and as it seems best friends ( as well as his EX ) with a paedo. He costs the taxpayer shedloads of money each year being a Royal, whereas someone with the right qualifications ( having recently been made redundant ) could do the same job at a fraction of the cost.

He flies all over the world, stays in the best Hotels, and how lucky is he that there is usually a major golf tournament taking place at the same time..

Exactly- his past record on "freebies " should have ruled him out of this post- We need someone who knows about British Industry, not some nobility who will get sucked up to just for who he is and not for the industry he is trying to sell.
