I've tried and tried and tried to like Capaldi, but I can't do it anymore. I hate him as the doctor. He bores me to tears!

 

I stopped watching ten minutes from the end of the episode because I couldn't bear it anymore. I did go back and watch the last bit later when it became obvious from twitter that there was an "amazing" cliffhanger.

 

It wasn't worth it. 

 

 

I'm really gutted as I loved that show! 

 

I quite enjoyed the opener to the series, except for one or two elements I thought it was pretty decent.

 

Was not impressed with the 'axe war'

 

Liked how they got Davros to look like Davros from years past.

I didnt like it, it felt wrong them being 'on the same side' 

I was just looking at some pictures from last nights episode. I thought the set design of the "hall" where some of the action took place and was where a number of the Daleks were gathered was reminiscent of the very early shows. I thought it was a nice touch.

I've just watched the second one - these past two episodes have been the best ones since Weeping Angels and the Dr and Rose's goodbye.   I will glued to it (although I did think for a bit that this was Clara going already..!)    I'm growing to love Missy too, Jen! 

Yep.. it was all very like the Daleks of old, wasn't it?     I amost felt I should be watching from behind the sofa again..

 

I have to say that now I have seen both episodes twice, I like them a lot more than many that have gone before. I'm desperately wanting to love Capaldi and it's only on occasions that I'm now going 'meh'.

 

I think by the end of this series he may have got up to speed with the character and won a few more of us over.

 

Clara is getting better for me, such a shame she is off as I would love to have seen her in the show longer.

 

Yes Kaffy, I too thought that this episode was the one where Clara left, sort of left. But it was a bit of a red herring.

 

Good to see Davros back. As I said ^ up there, I am liking some of the set design.

Although it will be set in Coal Hill School, Patrick Ness (the creator & writer of the series) has said that it won't feature Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman).
