I'm still playing catch up here.. weeks behind, so I'm not sure what episode you're talking about, fluffs..   I have to say, (i've not read the whole thread) that the first few episodes left me cold.   Don't get me wrong - I love Peter Capaldi, but I think the storylines were just.. meh!    I've just watched 'The Caretaker' - and I'm properly back on board... really enjoyed it.

Off-hand, I think it's the next episode I was referring to (after The Caretaker)

I'm up to date with them all. .still hoping a storyline will engage me.. no idea if the writing team have changed but there is no connection between the characters to carry me from episode to episode...  that would usually keep me watching even if there was the odd dodgy storyline in an episode. .

Also, I  have watched last nights and have no idea who Missy is...

Must have been so good it fried my brain with the excellence of it

Used to be of the opposite sex and was played by Roger Delgado and John Simm, to name but two....

That's what I don't like about Dr. Who. She must be the Master, but it makes no sense. I'm trying to stick with the new series but it's hard work and I like the new Dr. less and less. He doesn't seem to realise that he's gone through a change physically but is still the Dr.

I'm still completely confuddled...  are we talking about the woman who pretended to be an android but wasn't?

maybe the next episode will make it clearer altho the tone of this whole serious has been completely confusing  and crap stories to boot.. [sack this writing team]  not getting any gelling with the characters either this series either on screen or personally..

Mr Pink once again became a soldier and righted a wrong. Clara and the Doctor told each other porkies, Father Christmas made an appearance appropriately for the Christmas episode and The Master Missy more than likely escaped rather than being turned into atoms by Lethbridge Stewart who in turn got his salute from the Doctor.

Was that a brief homage to The Twilight Zone? The Cyberman on the outside of the aeroplane?

Enthusiastic Contrafibularities

Well how infuriating! Last weeks was full on exceptional, only to be followed by this ....this..... thing.

I hated the new series at the beginning.....loved it SO much in the middle .... but this episode was enough to put me off for life  (or at least till Christmas

Some of the lines of dialogue actually made me cringe. There has probably been plenty of cringy dialogue in the past as well to be fair, but David and Matt could always make me believe in the sincerity of every cringy line. I just don't think Peter Capaldi can quite pull it off. He's good. Really really good on occasion, but I think you probably need to exceptional to pull off the "love will save the world" cringy stuff.

And for the record,  Danny Pink sucks. I've never cared so little about a main character being cyber-manned.

I thought tonight was Fanbloodytastic!! I have only one question and i was slightly disappointed that i guessed what was coming a lot of the time BUT I thought the whole thing was fab!

My question (haven't read recent comments sorry) Why did Danny not move when Missy was commanding her army?

I'm thinking it was a result of a sonic setting to let him tap into the plan but retain a par of himself too

The Inhibiter in his chest wasn't switched on.

Well this series confused me more than ever. .I thought it was a load of rubbish and even that they edited out some scenes so it just jumped from one thing to another. .half the time I had no idea what they were talking about.

Get a new writing team for the next series, this lot were crap.. I need something to cling onto each week like an ongoing relationship type storyline, if there was one in this series it was very deeply hidden or went over my head
