Rex does have a lovely voice.  I've a bit of thing for voices...The ones that make my knees go a bit wibbly are deep Northern English accents, posh Edinburgh or Dublin and a nice RP like Rex, not posh-posh like Ben so much...ooh and South Wales, but again deep.
