I've only recently started flossing, once every other day. My gums bleed a tiny bit but apparently thats normal when you're starting out.  I use those disposable hook type ones. Occasionally they get lodged between my teeth and I start panicking, running around the bathroom with the hook hanging out my mouth.  Then I easily remove it and feel a tad stupid for over-reacting.

If your gums bleed when you brush or floss then don't panic, its only where there's been food trapped (unless you're flossing too hard ). Yep RawkyRoooooooo, twice a day. First thing in mornin (out of habit) and last thing at night. I've only started flossing like that again lately, though. I had my teeth whitened and it cost too much for me to have to have it done again next month

I use an interdental brush in the morning but floss at night time - like Karma brush/floss/brush

dental hygienists (mine's called Wendy the Witch    ) do pressure people into flossing.  Mine always has a go at me for allegedly flossing the gaps not the teeth   I leave there wanting to punch her!
