Its noise polution so they should do something about it.
The noise pollution people? Can't remember the official name, but your council should have a department...
Environmental Health
Former Member
Environmental Dept
No idea what phone numbers are.. but it should come under an anti-social number, the council may have..Good luck..
Why don't you talk to the person who's alarm went off rather than their neigbour?
Tell them to pull the battery out.
Alarms can go off all the time when the battery getting low.

In that case I don't understand why the police haven't been involved since you heard it going off the first time.
environmental health....definately.
when i first moved into my last house, i got them visiting me a week later as neighbours complained my alarm was going off all the time. course it wasn't my alarm it was someone 15 doors away plus mine was empty with birdies living in it

Try phoning the police too.
All alarms must cut out after 20mins . If not you should contact the council. All councils should have a 24hr number.
You can also contact the police. People should not have to suffer from alarm noise. As always though most are fecking sheep and do nothing or leave it up to others to act.
Here is some info, its the same for all councils.
