Pity it wasn't my niece's Turkish wedding (hubby's sister's middle daughter not my side btw - I disown them
) where you could have sat any where at any time and left when you wanted as they only gave you a yoghurt pot type drink of water and you're left to fend for yourself - it's like camp-run-a-muck. I couldn't wait to get home (well, nearest thing, to my temp bed in MIL's)no food and everything is rushed - even the bride/groom's parents were outside chatting - yet hubby still thinks our weddings are boring 
- he needs a shot somewhere. 
this so called wedding took p0lace at 8pm btw - I got married in Turkey and we just strolled to a friend's for a salad and.....

Yes, but water was a part of the reception, sweat was the rest! I threw my wedding ring at him last night - it needs an MOT after 28 yrs btw! He's trying to sort out property with his Mother - long story, blood's thicker than water, that will say a lot.
