Don't shoot me but I will be buying it. I will buy it to put in my daughters memory box...
Michael Jackson is a pop legend who I grew up with listening to his music. I was a big fan and sadly only went to one concert - his BAD tour at Wembley.
My daughters memory box is for things that have happened while she is small and was huge in the press. Obama becoming President - I have The Times news paper pull outs etc. Plus lots of other news worthy things over the last 2 years.
I agree it was sick to put that photo on but I can't change that.
May this trash of a magazine go into bankruptcy... I hope his family sue them for this...

How can they?
Erm... his body is going to be shown anyway. So either way all papers will have a photo of it
From Sky News:
Michael Jackson's family plan to take his body to his Neverland ranch where it will go on public view before a burial, it has been reported.

I wonder where all the outrage is for the many other celebs (oh and lets not forget about the mere "Civilians" as Ms Hurley calls us) who have been subject to indignities after their deaths.
I am finding this sense of ownership his fans have towards him baffling.
I really wanna start a thread on it

Seriously, I'm not going to read all of this thread, but it is not that bad and not worth you getting all stressed about.
Now why don't you start one about all of the dead war victims around the world who have been put on TV or in magazines etc.
MJ courted controversey all his life, so this is not at all surprising.
What is probably worse is his dad plugging his new record label on TV !!!

Take a look at the charts. These people who make the records are cashing in on his death too
Why don't they let him RIP?
Thats completely different. People are buying his music as they like it. Where as this ticket situation is robbing peoples money as the company is saying keep the ticket but your not getting your money back or get your money back but your not getting the tickets. Thats just wrong . There cashing in on his death in a wrong way

I don't quite understand why people have suddenly decided to download MJ tracks now that he's snuffed it. Hadn't they heard him before?

Is Roxi allowing us to go to the Dentist? Should we just stick to "Autocar" when we visit?
What and endorse an industry that contributes to global warming ?
The environment is great right and was a huge part of my childhood so respect it
I cycle to m'Dentist. If I ever get the slightest hint that you veggie, or your immediate family, or your slightly removed family, or someone you just met at McDonalds, drives a car, then there will be trouble.
Right here in River City.
And that starts with C and that rhymes with P and that stands for Pool. etc etc.

I'm boycotting his music because I don't like people exploiting his death.

Some may see it as celebrating his life through music, though.
I will never again buy any music from an artist who is alive.
I will wait till they're dead as a mark of respect

Thank you for doing that
Today i popped out to get some cold drinks as the heat today is so hot and as i was in the shop i saw the Ok magazine and it just disgusted me seeing the magazine in person and seeing how the picture looked like of dead Michael Jackson on the front cover. The editor of that magazine is sick and should be sued

but images of people who have been shot etc.. appear on the news all the time
do we have to sue the news stations aswell?
and dont forget these images are of people who have been hurt, most of the time, through no fault of their own, like that young girl in the Iran riots, theyre not pill popping, self mutilating oddjobs
