I've been looking for a while for something that will fill a space, all the others I found were really cheap and flimsy and in the flesh looked awful, you know the type of stuff you see in Argos and those types of stores. This looks good and hopefully will be good for a few years.

As for price I know a few women who spend that sort of money on a pair of shoes or a dress that they wear for one season and then its no longer  "in".

I think I got the better deal here

I guess I was lucky having a carpenter for an uncle (he passed away 2 years ago) but he made me two very sturdy bookcases from scratch

as for the shoes most women will do that but I'm the type of girl that takes ages to break a pair of shoes in so I wear mine till they fall apart

Now there is no amount of money that I wouldn't pay for a penguin   I paid ÂĢ90 for a biggish fluffy Pingu a couple of years ago

Exactly what I was going to say!

Ah, well Dame & Fluffs I can't do that as each doorway has a slightly raised wooden strip which would damage the bookcase as I dragged it over.

I have however used my herculean strength to lift it in
