FrownerThat's true....From what I've read Lisa has only been on the dole for a short period of time having worked and contributed to the system.

Yep.. apparently it does.

But.. suppose my point is.. it's kind of funny how people get their knickers bunched up over someone claiming the dole for which their eligibility would have been tested.. yet ignore other stuff.. and say it is nothing whatsoever to do with the HMs background.

There is a glaring difference imo....Freddie made the comment ...Did the other HM by his own admission say he sells for his own gain the *rags* donated to charity?.

I don't think it matters if Freddie claimed the dole after he left school. He's entitled to it and calling it pocket money is actually spot on, whatever way he meant it. David, on the other hand, loves Vivienne. I rest my case. Big Grin

DEM-ALL-CRAZY because this is not a democracy, they are just deceiving us all to think it is.....Its a beautiful song, well ahead of its time and well suited with the government and their antics....

Yes imo it's been obvious for a long time that this country is a dictatorship masquerading as a democracy.

That song is one of my favourites by MJ.

There is no difference. If you're going to dissect one HMs income and how they obtain it then why not everyones. In this instance both these HMs have said what they do.. so why isn't David's, for example, being chewed over in the same way Freddie's is? You even have FMs questioning whether he has fiddled the dole! So why aren't those same FMs applying their enquiring Colombo like minds to, for example, David's clothes sorting/ebay seller career. Just as many conclusions to be drawn from that one if not more.

She seemingly has, but getting back to BB. I think you will find that it was Bea critisising Lisa about being on the dole..not Freddie. He was nodding, as he usually does in his conversations with anyone. It doesn`t mean he agrees. He then said "You`re very good at putting down people down Bea."

Don`t tar him with the same brush.

The probable issue with Freddy's comment is while he does meet the criteria of entitlement his need is for the purpose of pocket money while for others without they would have absolutely nothing to live on ....No conclusions no unfounded allegations .

PCE, I have COPD and I have to live of basic income support, I get nothing else, not a penny, nada. I don't get my knickers in a twist about a 24 year old who has rich parents claiming a bit of dole while he's between studying and calling it pocket money. He's right, it doesn't get you anything other than food, leccy and the odd hair dye.
