When we watch The Chase and a contestant takes the minus figure Mr C calls them all sorts and is utterly delighted if they get caught. 

He's also the same when they open the big boxes close to the end on DOND.

The questions are hardly Rocket Science though....and they are mostly multiple choice. Even most of the ones I didn't know, I got right.

My nephew is a bright lad ........some years ago he was on a quiz show hosted by Ian Wright - he just couldn't get started. He said it's hot and strangely pressurised. He's a very confident boy but did say - it's not as easy as you'd think.

Soozy, I agree, I can sit at home and answer 8 out of 10 of the questions on quiz shows (that I watch). Mr C keeps pestering me to apply, but I know I would go to pieces, I am not a person that likes all eyes on you person. I made my wedding as small and discrete as possible because i couldn't cope with the idea of walking down an aisle in front of loads. *shudders*

Well....I certainly agree about the Dale Winton bit.

Not really. You can feel 'Schadenfreude' at someone without gaining from it yourself; i.e. if someone boasts a lot and then makes a mistake.

I have to say though, just turned on DOND and the chap who is picking boxes has not even opened a box yet and he is whipping the crowd up and his fellow contestants in a very American way - the devil in me wants him to picks reds - he's just picked an all blue opening round 

I want him to lose the big money also he's very annoying, we had the 1p kiss now we have the 1p drop
