I like the older HM's when they are put in. Ahmed, B'linda, Carole et al, well, not like them but enjoy watching something other than the usual stereotypical HM.
I really wanted Marcus to be good. I liked the cool stuff in the Diary Room and was utterly convinced he was having a wee joke with us all but I am beginning to wonder. I don't know that he has " a dry SOH" I think he actually believes it. Glance

There are guys who like and admire Marcus because he says the things that social convention forces them not to - unless of course they don't respect social convention - and he has become a kind of legend to them. This isn't really anything new, we've had inverted sexism for some time now, some commedians make their living that way but they won't be compared to old skool "comics" like Bernard Manning or *struggling to think of sexist 70's comics* because they are post modern sexists.

I hear him when he says things that would make me blush (yes, sad I know) but choose to let it go because I think there is a lot more to him and I like the rest there is.

I really like Marcus, I might be in the minority of women who do, but I can't help myself! I like forthright people who are their own person.

I don't think he's behaved like an idiot with Noireen, he just mis read the signals that's all, he just found her attractive - it happens. He's not going to suddenly start stalking her in the shower with a pair of scissors in his hand. He probably feels a bit twattish for making a fool of himself, hence the weights and the distance but he'll get over it, it's all part of life's experience.

If he manages to move on from it then he'll be fine.

Completely agree, hope he gets back to how he was Thumbs Up
