if you just take the skin off the top, and bake it for about 20 minutes...you will just know when it is totally dipable and if you have it in the cupboard...I would recommend putting some onion chutney on the top...if not, next time you think of having it, get some caramelised red onion chutney from M & S - it is totally divine !!!!
OMG - I am sooo jealous of you Ditty, I wish I was at your house - I can just taste that now *drools*

Last year I picked one up from M and S and it was REALLY stinky (in a not right kinda way) so it ruined the cheese fest we were meant to have, and landed up picking up that Le Rustique Camembert as it was the only one left in Tesco! Turned out it was the nicest one we had tried from anywhere!!! you will have to report back later on just how tasty it is
Its a great camenbert.. I normally leave it ripen for a week on the windowsill.. and then have it poured (literally poured) over my salad in my pack up for work.. I eat it with pumpkin seed & oats ryvita.. & stink the office out
Right... my cheese is in the oven... along with the drizzled bread...
I am eating the top crust with my first glass of wine now *happy cheese dance*

I glugged it.. it went so well with the cheese.
And thankfully, I don't have another in the house, or I would drink it.

who'd have thought a thread about dips would have resulted in me being drunk & disorderly at teatime!!!
oih god I am so wanting to lie down on the sofa now though
My favourite is sour cream and chives and I like the sweet chilli one, too.
Need to try the M&S sweet chilli and mango, that sounds yummy.
I shall keep my eyes peeled!! sounds tasty!! I honestly dont think I could live without dip
sweet chilli, mango, sour cream...
and now I have to add camembert to MY shopping list too.
... and if I'm going to do that I better chuck in an extra bottle or two of vino, eh ditts?
I like the sweet chilli dip too, Im also a big fan of the classic 4 dips you get at the supermarket. Great for wedges, crisps, cheese straws. Yummy.
