I have just had to buy a Le Rustique Camberbert from Tesco's now...  & its all the fault of this thread!!!

Sooooooo...  normally, I buy my Camenbert in advance & let it ripen to the point of the rest of the family moaning about the stench before I eat it...    But I want to eat it tonight...

Sooooooo...   how do I bake it?      Do I just whack it in the oven?

if you just take the skin off the top, and bake it for about 20 minutes...you will just know when it is totally dipable and if you have it in the cupboard...I would recommend putting some onion chutney on the top...if not, next time you think of having it, get some caramelised red onion chutney from M & S - it is totally divine !!!!

Thank you xxxx

I recognised the wrapping on your pic...     its my preferred brand of Cambenbert

Last year I picked one up from M and S and it was REALLY stinky (in a not right kinda way) so it ruined the cheese fest we were meant to have, and landed up picking up that Le Rustique Camembert as it was the only one left in Tesco! Turned out it was the nicest one we had tried from anywhere!!! you will have to report back later on just how tasty it is

Its a great camenbert..   I normally leave it ripen for a week on the windowsill..   and then have it poured (literally poured) over my salad in my pack up for work..  I eat it with pumpkin seed & oats ryvita.. & stink the office out

Right...   my cheese is in the oven...   along with the drizzled bread...

I am eating the top crust with my first glass of wine now   *happy cheese dance*
