Does everyone else have a problem with reception on digitla TV if the weather turns nasty? Our TV goes wappy pixilating the picture and sort of stuttering. We never had this many problems with analogue and I thought better reception was the reason for switching us over.

Queenie, mine has gone worse and worse lately. After the September retune & then the November one, along with the bad weather, I have lost channels no matter what I do I can't get them all...it's so bloody annoying as I thought digital was meant to be an improvement!
Another money making scam IMO!

we only have to have a little rain and we lose the signal, does my head in it does
My Vigrin goes whenever there is a rainstorm, usually just as the murderer is about to be revealed.
dont have digital but run all programmes through sky as it is a much better picture
but .... slightest change in weather and the signal goes
I think we have to wait till 2012 for digital although it doesnt sound much better

My Sky+ cuts out during very heavy rain or storms, but usually it's fine.
My Freeview is fine but we have a digital roof aerial for that. Our SKY stutters if we have torrential rain, our dish is bolted to the front path,we couldn't get a reception higher up the wall or roof.
Yes, due to this bad weather the signal on my freeview box is non existant. Grrr!!
Thing is, if everyone has this trouble why has nobody complained about the analogue being switched off until it improves?

Have occasional trouble with me Virgin but its never weather orientated
Not so bad as before, but the Ariel was knocked slightly off course by the last bad winds and we had to have the Sky bloke come and adjust it, so I was crossing fingers and toes last night, in case it happened again, but so far so good.
Some areas seem to be worse than others, for it, our friends a couple of miles away have had terrible problems the past week or so with their digital reception, but we have been quite lucky.

We are always having problems - especially with ITV and Channel 4. We switch over to analogue when it gets really bad.

I have terrible trouble with my Sky - it doesn't even have to be raining just overcast and I'll lose picture .
the pixilating seems worse on the programme but always manages to fix itself for the adverts

Mine goes off with heavy rain and winds and even inclement weather makes it pixilate and freeze - it drives me crazy especially if I'm watching Neighbours and Home and Away lol!!!
My Sky aerial plays up more than the freeview so can switch channels usually.
