....give you the impression that she's fully recovered from her "exhaustion", and that she now looks fit & stable?

Afternoon, ladies
In practically all of yesterday's papers, just after she'd been on a shopping trip with "her minders & personal psychotherapist"

I thought her eyes still had the rabbit in the headlights look.

yep and I agree.....
I'm afraid to say I don't think she's cut out for a career in the public eye. If she can't handle the negativity of losing BGT then she'll never survive in the media spotlight.
I think the media and nasty people commenting on her looks etc are the cause of this poor woman's problem s. She was catapulted into the lime light and then dropped from a great height once they had built her up into some kind of megastar. No wonder the poor woman needed help. You just have to look at some of the unkind comments people have made about her on this forum
Her life will never be the same, so sad

That's probably true, puss. But it's still not too late for her to be persuaded to just gracefully opt out. At the very least, I would hope her "loving" family would be advising her and repeatedly asking her if this TRULY IS what she wants in life.
I said a couple of weeks ago that the kindest thing Simon Cowell could do for her is to just slip her a million or so out of his own pocket. Enough to enable her to quietly retire with some happy memories.
This has NOTHING whatsoever to do with the woman's looks. Her looks have become a secondary issue now. What surely must solely be focused on is Susan Boyle's long-term phsychological well-being.

I didn't say today's papers, Joe. I said "recent pictures" (i.e in yesterday's papers)
I've not seen any pictures of her since last week. And I think that's the way it should stay.
I feel for this woman, she needs help, support and to be left alone.

Jeez.......I'm beginning to wonder if it was all a figment of my imagination now!
Every Saturday out here, I go buy some of the UK papers. I bought the Mirror/Sun/Express/Mail/Times/Independent/Guardian. Her pictures were in at least 4 or 5 of those papers.
And my point is that my instinctive reaction to seeing the pictures was that she still seems "fragile" (or a gibbering wreck, to put it more bluntly)

You haven`t been hallucinating, I saw those newspaper pictures.
I agree with everything you say about Susan`s fragile emotional state and I also worry that she may never be mentally strong enough to survive in the music industry.

Are you kidding?! I can barely manage normal English - let alone cryptic
But I have no doubt, Mr Brainiac, that you can rattle one off in 5 minutes

I saw the Indy yesterday and if she was in it, I must have blanked her out!
Seriously, I think her family need to take a hand in this and concentrate on protecting her, instead getting paid to do interviews themaselves.
