After the row on Saturday night when she had been called to the DR and he was giving his speach; did he accidently create the wrong - or at least a confusing character assessment?

I don't think most of the housemates present actually 'got' what he was saying, and perhaps even thought he was ONLY being sympathetic in outlining her personal difficulties. Regardless, it obviously failed...
