I've never watched TOWIE but judging by my Fb last night it was rubbish!

At heart, The Only Way is Essex is a show about identical-looking people making utterly pointless small talk in precisely the same disinterested monotone for an hour.

I love TOWIE.....but this is painful to watch.  Had it recorded and this thread reminded me to watch it before anyone else came home coz they take the P out of it.

Terrible wasn't it they are getting some ribbing on Twitter

It jumped from the variety show  to back stage convos ,it was a shambles.

Did anyone hear them being directed  to "Perform now "

They've been one of the hottest couples in  Essex since they rekindled their on-off romance in May.

But Joey Essex's plans to propose to his  long-term girlfriend Sam Faiers during Monday night's episode of TOWIE Live  resulted in him breaking down in floods of tears - with viewers confused as to  whether he and the blonde bombshell were even together any longer.

Audience members at home were left querying  via their Twitter pages whether Joey had bottled out of a planned proposal - or  even dumping Sam - live on air.

If you missed it, there are barely any words to describe how awful TOWIE Live was.I'd suggest you watch it on catch up, but I don't want to be billed for all the televisions and laptops that it'd make you destroy in a fit of frustration and despair. Maybe a comparison would help. Remember the Live Eastenders episode from 2010 that was ridiculed because one actor forgot his lines and another was briefly seen jamming his fingers down his throat? Compared with TOWIE Live, that was Citizen Kane.

the live show ? ..... about as much as you could expect, I guess .... and what the hell was wrong with Joey? For heavens sake!! ... If you don't wanna get married then don't ... it's as simple as that

Debbie really was ill advised to wear that dress IMO - shows of all the lumps and bumps - she usually looks really nice.
