I can't see this dark theme staying.

So if, God forbid, 50.001% voted for this black gunge, you would inflict it upon us - even though it's bordering on the criminal?

Thank goodness it has changed do we need the spotty background that hurts my eyes too it would look better plain

Is there no way of setting it for our own?


Hate the bright colours when looking at it in the morning Quite a few people liked the dark background

I loved the grey colour scheme; I think it was probably the smartest colour scheme I've ever seen on a forum     I think this is too pale and sickly, but at least it's a bit better than the peachy colours we had before the change.

Loved the grey, hate this one...the background looks like an eye test for colourblindness!

I like the blue colours but I'm not keen on the psychedelic spots.
Are there going to be spots with each colour choice?

Hi Yogi I've looked through the various possible schemes over on Livecloud, there are 14 in all. Yesterday's was called "Dark Dots". Today's is called "You Like Fun Dot". I don't think the other ones have dots at present. Some of the others have no patterns, some do.

Obviously different themes appeal to different people for varying reasons..  I like the colours of yesterdays one but my eyes couldn't deal with it.. others could. . some found it dreary, others didn't..

if there are 2 or 3 in the final Poll that are popular could they not then be put in as skin choices in each members Control panel so that way everybody would be happy with the theme of their choice..

If we can change our LiveCloud themes is it that technically difficult to build that option in the  separate forums control panels?  Just a thought

I've noticed that as well.

I like this one.....I find it calming and easy to read

I have huge spots down the sides..  they've not gone anywhere on my set up

I thought Burnt Orange, Earth, Dark Dots, Midnight....

 

Midnight was good, dark with no dots.

 

Il go beserk if we have one of those bright ones... its like looking at a blank piece of white paper. The current one is "You like fun dots"... im not thats the case with some at the moment

Anything was better than yesterdays, it gave me an headache.

better than the black with white writing........hated that...

Could someone please tell me how to get to the place which shows the new colour schemes.
I keep searching round LiveCloud, but so far I have not found them.

Brisket if you are signed into LiveCloud look along the top menu bar  ..

Click Manage  then Manage your personal settings from the drop down menu.. it opens your personal Home Page

from that page select Your site from the top bar then Control panel from the drop down menu

on the page that opens [your site settings] there are 5 boxes on the left the 4th one down is the Themes one..

Not liking the spots. It's too much like the vision distortion I sometimes get.

I'm not mad on the dots but this colour is much better than yesterday's!

This third one is called Spring Flowers.

Do we have to a pattern at the sides of the page and because this  is so much lighter you can see it through the whole page it is very off puting plain would be easier on the eye, thank you 

I don't know why but the writing on the forum seems quite faded with this background The letters seem to be more grey/white than black.

I think its because of the translucency and the faded appearance of the flowers behind the writing.

When you're writing in the reply box the writing's quite a lot clearer because it's on a solid background.

This one would be reasonably ok if it were solid rather than see-through.

I quite like this one, but not nearly as much as the grey we had earlier in the week.  But I think all of the themes look so much better with the flowers or dots or other patterns down the sides.

I don't like this one at all....make it look like i am losing my sight...its far too wishy washy.

The pink is rancid
