Edit: On second thoughts it might work if you put it on the wall that gets the most/a lot of light....and nothing dark on the other walls.

Sling in some meringue and we'll all be round for pudding

Keep going Pirate; you need to do the whole room (all walls, skirting, doors etc) AND the soft furnishings before you really know if it's a go-er.

I bet you'll both be chuffed to bits with it when it's finished

Erin I painted my downstairs loo in a turquoise glitter, lovely when done but a swine to paint on.

I have been told that it will be very difficult to remove ,so I have just decided tonight and ordered Cardinal Red emulsion(Next).

Now looking for a large 3d butterfly mirror .

Erin I couldn't find the one EC posted on a uk website, so hopefully when he comes back he can point us in the right direction.  But I did find this.

Cinds, Erin - I can't recall where I found it. Will have to have a look through my browsing history.

Really sorry for your loss Xochi  My aunt is amazing for her age, but, simple fact is, most of her friends and family are gone and as much as she keeps herself active and busy, the long winter days and nights are, well, v long and sometimes lonely. She loves going out there and has done it on her own, but would much prefer going with me so I get an for that and a TUT TUT for not doing what I really should be doing. What the hell!

Whatever you do for your aunt is the bestest thing Soops! Simple fact is, you bought her into your trip, proving it is done with love.  My Aunt Joan had a fantastic life! She lived all over Africa (my uncle was a proper colonial admin man). They finished up his working days in Nepal after which they reluctantly settled down in the UK! Her illness was lengthy but she had the most devoted husband to the end, my wonderful Uncle Gordon.
