Having read through a few of these MJ threads (I can't help myself), I am left feeling confused. MJ is considered mature enough to raise three children but not mature enough to know that he shouldn't be in bed with children that are not his. Isn't this a contradiction, or am I being a bit dim?

no...I made that very point in one of the other threads but it got totally ignored....if he was so child like then surely he was incapable of looking after children and so should not have been allowed to keep his own!

well he certainly isn't mature enough to realise dangling your baby son over a balcony is stupid......he certainly isn't mature enough to know that inviting children into his bed is a no go either.....so sorry to mj fans....i think he was a crap dad.....making the kids go out with their faces covered and god knows what else....

just cos he chucked a shed load of money at the kids does not make him a good father imo....

Thanks, didn't see your post, glad I'm not totally losing the plot. Wonder if MJ would have let his kids stay with a 40 something year old man and let them share his bed, just a thought.

I have only read about this on here really so don't know too much about it.
But I wouldn't let that father within a mile of those kids, look at how screwed up the bunch he raised are for starters, let alone how he acted a couple of days after MJ died, using his death to plug his record label

Personally, for the good of the kids I would do two things. Firstly I would put any money left over after the debts have been paid into trust funds that the kids cannot touch until they are 25 or 30. I would have it administered by a team of trustees appointed by a court so they are independent.
Secondly I would make sure that whoever gets those kids is aware that they cannot touch the money and make sure that the trustees pay any major bills (such as schooling, security, medical care etc). I would actually make sure that the amount any guardian gets for day to day expenses is small enough that there would no financial incentive for anyone to take the kids on as a get rich quick scheme.

If the nanny has been with all the kids for years then maybe for a continuity of care she should get custody of them.

Michael Jackson was a good dad to his kids. He loved them alot he said this in an interview and so has Jernaine. You cant judge someone on how the media percieve them and accuse them of being bad parent as thats wrong. Michael Jackson brought those kids up on his own and in my opinion he has done a great job. Debbie Rowe should not get the kids as shes had nothing to do with them since them being born. She gave up her rights and took the money that just shows she isnt fit to look after children. I really hope those kids get the love, support off the Jackson family as they dont need more heartache after losing their dad

How are you judging MJ then? How can you say he is a good dad as you don't personally know him. You say you can't judge by the media... but your judging what he said in that interview

I have watched interviews hes done and he seems a very nice guy who loved his children alot. I dont take any interest in what the media lie about

The answers simple really, put them with independent stable loving NORMAL foster parents away from anyone else that can buy or sell them and just show them what real life is about.... simples

I have no problem with fans of MJ or MJ himself. But making threads about such little things can be quite annoying, for example the other day i made a thread related to BB and it got knocked to the bottom of the page because of the amount on MJ threads. Here is what i would suggest, make an Official Michael Jackson Thread where everyone can pay tribute and discuss any news on, at the moment its like every little ounce of news about MJ gets a thread for it. Its like me making one saying "Siavash has gone to the bathroom!" it would just be pointless So, obviously i can't force this idea but i suggest one thread is made for MJ which will probably last a long time like the HLs discussion thread Im sure if everyone supported the idea you would get less jokes about MJ and arguements

just cos mj said he loved his kids in an interview doesn't mean he's a good dad......just cos jermaine said mj was a good dad in an interview equally carries no weight...


karen matthews sobbed and looked heartbroken when shannon disappeared...her mates were on tv saying how much she loved her kids....was she a good mum?......no!!!!

I have found video clips of Michael Jackson spending time with his kids at home and you can clearly see how much he loved his kids. Thats the proof I have seen
