I didn't. Too full of herself and not my kind of music. I was always more into real rock, rather than the stuff they churned out. I know I'm up against it, but I'm hardly going to change after 30 years. More Motorhead and Wordsworth is what I say.

Well each to their own.    Motorhead had a couple of OK songs but most of it was a noise to me.  I have everything Blondie and Debbie Harry ever did, on record and CD..  picture discs and books and posters and all sorts.  I was a HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOJ fan!  Still am.

I suppose the thing I objected to (and still do) most was the way she relied on her looks and she was gorgeous. Yet she now seems to spend her money 'repairing' something natural into something un-natural. She's admitted it herself on several progs in the last few days and it just reinforces my view of her being shallow or at least she was until she was sober enough to see herself in the mirror one day and decided to try and sort herself out. Sorry, but I probably should be moaning about her in 'the bane of my life' thread.

I should also point out that Blondie mean a lot to ourselves. Not really my first choice, but they acted as a soundtrack to a certain point of our lives. We enjoyed listening to DID on a journey to my parents.

Not at all. I was conscious that something was happening due to your thread/posts. We didn't know who was on DID until it came on. (we listen every week, right after tha archers omnibus, we are right down with the er, kids) So I just thought that I'd mention it, just in case like.

Ours too! Parralel Lines, A night on the Town Rrod Stewart) and Rumours (Fleetwood Mac) all three take me back to really happy times .
