The mods like me and Fluffy can't answer as we don't have access to the Social Strata servers to see if there is a problem.

I haven't had any posting or access problems recently.

My stock answer is to try clearing your browser cache to see if that helps.

Okay El thanks. Will give that a go

Forum Problems Explained

It has been known for a while that when a forum receives more than 3000 posts in one day it's starts up a negative polaric ion flow in the dilithium crystals, causing an event horizon to open up in sub space which can only be closed by ejecting the warp core.

Hope that helps.

That makes perfect sense to me ...

Besides clearing the browser cache to see if that helps, if you use Firefox as your browser, it can take up a lot of memory usage of computers which can slow internet access down. Quitting Firefox, then restarting Firefox does reduce the memory usage and so can speed things up. Having several tabs open on Firefox does use up memory.

Fluffy put in a ticket this morning, and got a response from Brian, but it was as I expected it to be: they haven't noticed anything with the servers. I know he's been working on stuff this afternoon, though, so maybe that will help?

As far as clearing your cache goes, I just google the question when someone tells me to do something like that.

I actually found the cache and cookies etc. by accident and sorted them. It was slightly better but not a whole lot tbh. Thanks for your efforts on our behalf

Have any of you experienced these types of problems when connecting to GaGa from another country?

I've not had chance to find out EFFT ...but if Gaga would like to pay for me to go somewhere nice and warm....like the Maldives ...I'd be happy to report back ,
