 I have to admit it was bad and I love that song, being only two of them now does not work I actually felt embarrassed for them, as they are very talented singers/song writers
Sadly true.
When Maurice Gibb died, there were some unkind comments implying that he was the least talented brother. Although it was true that Barry and Robin competed for lead vocals and were (comparatively) more successful songwriters, that rather missed the point.


I remember Paul Gambaccini saying at the time that Maurice's death meant that we would never again hear that unique Bee Gees sound: he was right.
The Bee Gees wrote their songs to take full advantage of their combined voices, and that includes Maurice's harmonizing. Remove one pillar, and the whole edifice collapses...
