Deanna Durbin died yesterday at the age of 88.
Following a highly successful career in Hollywood singing both popular and classical songs, she became disillusioned, and following her marriage to a French film director she went to live in France in retirement.

Loved both these movies and her delightful voice, she was a lovely actress, R.I.P. Deanna.
Going to check on Amazon to see if I can buy these two movies as I had forgotten about them.

Deanna Durbin had a beautiful voice much better than Judy Garland IMO...loved her movies...RIP.

To be honest I thought she had died years ago.I know after she left hollywood she became enormous in size.No need to diet anymore,Deanna did have a lovely voice.
