Was up early this morning so decided to have a watch of it. The production of it is truly awful, Kate Garraway was in the middle of an interesting interview with some older ladies who started a revolt about equal pay decades ago and about how there was a film about it, and they cut back to the studio in the middle of it.  Then there's the awful weather forecasts, they seem to do it every half hour they cut to the weather girl who is in a park in Surrey or somewhere, she talks about her surroundings for 30 seconds then presents the weather.  The studio is so cold and unwelcoming, and Adrian and Christine are better suited to evening presenting as they are not warm and bubbly enough to carry off morning TV.

Just my opinions of course.

Snap, I don't like it either.... they just aren't comfortable on that sofa.. if you watch them, she is always fidgeting with her dress or suddenly realises she is slouching so sits up straight, Adrian keeps leaning back on the sofa and then adjusts his position again... That sofa is not a comfy sofa... it's quite fun to see them uncomfortable sitting there...

I've been ranting about this shambles ever since it first went on air. The studio colours are awful, it's too dark and gloomy and it's more like watching a show inside death row. It's just hasn't got that fluid, well-oiled machine flow that GMTV had, it's more of a staccato, 'oh crap what camera am I looking at' kinda cack feel to it.

Plus Christine funny nose Bleakley gets right on my jacobs.

Karma do you not think the whole thing is really rushed and shoved together?
Oh God yes! It just looks so amateur in comparison to other live shows. It's got more of a BBC feel to it too. I have no idea why ITV scrapped GMTV but I think they've made a huge mistake, if only Chris Evans would bring back The Big Breakfast!

I watched GMTV for years, I can't stand the BBC in a Morning, too stuffy and serious, GMTV was just right. I liked the presenters and at least they used to have abit of fun.

Daybreak on the other-hand just seems so strained....can't stand Bleakley or Chiles...it's just a shambles...........I now watch ANYTHING other than the BBC or ITV in a Morning..

I stick the telly on out of habit when I'm getting ready... it's usually Everybody love Raymond or Frasier!   I used to love Adrien Chiles on 'You're Fired' but I can't stand that Bleakely woman - and our Ade is a bit too far up his own arse for me now.

That's about what I've seen.  Dumb and dumber were trying a remote control helicopter thingy - it was mildy amusing that they nearly took out a camera man - but it was very fitting that the studio resembled an air craft hangar.    Crappity, crap crap.

I don't mind BBC if I want to see the news though, but Frasier's a nicer way to start the day.
