Last night Davina said: “Nadia has always been one of my favourite housemates of all time.

“But if I upset her or indeed anyone by the comment I made then I am horrified and offer my genuine apologies.

“I know when she came out of the house she was upset by the boos. She was true to herself in the house and I totally respect her.”

Channel 4 bosses claim they will keep an eye on fragile Nadia. A BB spokesman said: “A full aftercare system is in place for all housemates.”

TV chiefs also denied they had covered up Coolio’s bullying of Nadia which led to him leaving the house.

It has been revealed the rapper, 47, kept calling her “they’’ and tried to get Makosi and Josie to “touch’’ her. None of this was shown on telly.

But a BB spokesman said it was “inevitable” that not everything featured in the highlights shows.

Last comment from the BB spokesman was interesting, we know they can't show everything but it could have been explained.

Referring to Nadia as having 'boyish good looks', Liver. She's great with her little jokes... I think 'retard' is another of her little gems from the past. On Alan Carr last night saying she's not sure if she'd be involved if C5 bought the show.. maybe it was her time to move on. I heartily agree.

I'm no fan of Nadia, but given what she's gone through to become the woman she is, not to mention the uproar that seems to have occurred about it in the house, and finally the state she knew Nadia was in after the eviction, I think insensitive barely covers it.

I think anyone who has grown up in the wrong body and put up with a lot of painful surgery to rectify that, and emotional pain, as well, would be sensitive about comments like that.

Publicly ridiculing someone in that way is very low and shows what an idiot Davina is, fundamentally. She wouldn't make jokes about someone's skin colour, or someone else's disability, so why is their gender or sexual orientation fair game?

Nadia did herself no favours in there either, but of course we never got to see the whole picture, did we?

I dont think so.....just imagine your whole life trying to be accepted just for 'being'...then you finally think you've gotten somewhere (the BB win)....go back to repeat the experience after a few years of ups and downs, only to find someone you're supposed to live with has stepped right back to the dark ages and wants to invalidate you constantly from the word go....then you come out to a baying crowd, to find the numpty that's interviewing you actually wants to join in with the gender gags, while youre feeling stressed, exhausted, highly emotional, and heartily sick of being questioned for who you are. OTT? Like I've said several times, if it were me I'd have had a much stronger reaction, like telling Davina to grow the fcuk up and interview me instead of ridiculing.

Assuming Nadia watched BBBM or heard about, in her position Id still do the same...it makes no difference, it's the attitude that's obviously upset Nadia, and it's definitely a good thing she's chosen not to make any more appearances.

Definate over reaction. For someone who has changed gender by surgery, they need to have a thicker skin. Or is that insensitive of me to say?

I do however agree to some other comments about her being OTT.

There was nothing immature about my post LL.....I would say the only immature attitude here is yours. How about having a bit of compassion eh? you too are allowed to disagree with me without the need to claim I am being immature. At least I can take it on board someone has struggled their entire life just to be comfy only for narrow minded people not to get it

I totally get this

I used to be a fan of Davina's but this last two or three year she's been way over the top, BBBM is the dredges of a sewer for me, it's absolute crap IMO.

I don't see what difference it makes whether Nadia was in the room when she said it, or not. Saying something hurtful in public is bound to get back to the person you were talking about, isn't it?

For some reason, some see it as less cruel, even though a studio audience and viewers all over the UK saw and heard it. But if it had been said to Nadia directly, that would somehow be worse?
Or (hang on, I'm getting tangled in a web of conflicting logic here) wouldn't it have been BETTER to do that - as so many people here say, when defending 'honest' (ie rude) HMs because they 'say it to people's faces'?

When did Davina ridicule Nadia,s sexuality? Have a missed something? I know on her twitter she asked what transphobic was, but i think that was Davina,s way of saying thats the first i have heard of that , sort of thing. Her way of playing down Coolio,s behaviour perhaps. She isnt a stupid woman. Josie made it clear she didnt leave the house because of Nadia, which Davina kind of suggested, she was right to apologise for that IMO
